wow that is amazing. There are 100s or maybe 1000s of plants that do everything we need. If we all ate a very wide variety of these plants daily we would be healthy as can be

I've eaten it a bit personally, and its good for eating if you can find young leaves that haven't been poisoned. Its related to the green bean and even has green bean look a like pods that are too tough to eat. The bigger leaves aren't as digest able and take a lot of time to consume, but its fun to chew instead of tobacco.

It can also help your liver from what I've read, and they make a tofu like stuff from it in Japan and use the starch in various recipes. Its interesting stuff.

Is it pretentious to say its all about diet and exercise... when the compounds in Kudzu can aid people systems on how food is converted into energy and stored. Some people eat modestly, exercise modestly and still have problems with how food is metabolized within the body. So what's up with those comments?
Just in case your doing some research about consuming kudzu. I've been taking kudzu for a about 2 weeks now. I noticed on a day 2 i had several bowls movements with a bloated feeling that went away after the bowels movements. I noticed i still had carvings for certain processesd foods but not as frequently or intense. If i had something i was content with what i had and that was that. I did feel leaner in my gut very gradually not in some kind of magical away. Rather i ate my carlories ina small window or through a larger time frame. I say give it a try the plant might have some componds that help regulate certian body functions. If its good for liver and heart, headaches perhaps it helps the body with leptin production and regulate the things that deal with cravings in our brains. By making the signals less intense and less frequently..
So those whole diet and exercise comments are kinda redundant because no matter how much diet and exercise the body can still have a hard time diminishing cravings and regulating energy. This might be an excellent helper if you think your system needs that. And those comments didn't exactly address in what way this root can help you with wellbeing

👍 Precisely! I have to agree with you. It's much more complex than diet and exercise. Those are important, but to suggest that biochemistry is as simple as that, is obtuse to say the least.

Thank you so much because that is exactly what I was wondering because I keep reading about how it helps with alcoholism so my thought process was well it must help with cravings in general but I really didn’t see much about weight or diet or appetite control until your post so thank you so much

How about this scenario- use it in a greendrink smoothie for health? Would it be a decent replacement vs kale? Any kidney stone issues like spinach? Reason I wonder, kale is expensive if used in a daily greendrink, kudzu is everywhere for free.

Bad kudzu infestations also sound like a diesel engine.
