These are the BEST tutorials on the web. You cover everything and you do not rush. I prefer that I can skip or go at the real speed and see what is really happening. Although I was amazed how slowly your computer compiles the sketches

I like it and find your tutorials very helpful because I'm really bad at programming graphical elements but because you're showing these examples every step of the way and keeping it so simple that's really good so thank you very much for sharing this online.

Perhaps you could show how to find a list of all commands for the TFT in the library files. I think many people would benefit from that.

How do we stop the screen from flickering when pushing images? I have an image that gets updated every half second, and I change the background color of the segment I'm redrawing, causing this flicker. Is there a way to prevent this? I thought about using sprites, but I'm having trouble getting a sprite to work with transparent 16 bit images

Your videos are great, I’m a complete beginner and you make it very plain.. you should also know your English is very good, I’m from the UK and you speak a lot better than some British people 😂.. also, when you were looking for dark blue you can pick TFT_NAVY as that is a dark blue colour, I understand how this can be confusing as you’d normally think of boats rather than a colour

Lilygo TTGO has changed USB to uart bridge ICs from Sil 2104 to HDM 9102F.
The old chip worked great The new IC is not recognized by my Linux system and thus does not appear in Arduino IDE under USB port selection options. Do you know who manufactures HDM ?
Have you had any experience with the CH 9102 F chip?
Keep up the excellent videos. Thanks

@@VolosProjects Volos thank you for your reply
Often said with Linux that these are good to go out of the box meaning no driver install has ever been done on multiple boards including TT go with 2104 chip. Also no issue with the CH340 chip or a 2102 chip on a wemos or wroom. Have you had success with a CH9102F? On what platform? Was a driver installation required I assume on Windows or Mac answer would be yes? Thanks again You're doing a great job my friend!
