Love Bagley but why didn't they select #375 for the DM -- that is one of my favs and makes more sense than Spidey just hanging out in the corner. But love this material

As for the book, I ended up skipping this because I have "Maximum Carnage" in Epic format and the majority of this in the two omnibuses (Michelinie/McFarlane & Michelinie/Larsen) and the Epics for "The Hero Killers" and "Invasion of the Spider-Slayers." But I'm glad to see this available!
Ok so this maybe what I need next, having recently finished reading *1984's Secret Wars* as a new reader, I was hyped to see where to continue the Spiderman story from that. Those initial issues in this book appear to cover that 👌

Mmm.. hotdogs. Melanie’s guest appearances are awesome. You should have a food guide so we can understand actual size of book eyes … that 1rst print might be the corn on the cob eye .. new printing hotdog no bun🤣
This is only the second omnibus book where I've puchased both the standard and DM variant covers, and just like the other one ( _Spider-Gwen_ ), after I ordered the Standard variant and saw the DM, I was like "OMG! I HAVE to have that, too!" lol.
I have said this before but I really think all of Maximum Carnage should be in the potential Michelinie/Bagley Omnibus because not everyone wants to have this as it's really a Venomnibus rather than Spider-Man one. And to fill the gap between the Larsen and first Clone Saga omnibus they would anyways need to include the J. M. DeMatteis issues after Michelinie left and those cross over to the other Spidey titles. So there would be enough material for two smaller Omnies or one really thick one. Ps. The Venomnibus 3 cover with the tongue was by Mike Deodato Jr, the standard cover was by Keith 😉 Anyways thanks for these overviews Omar! Always fun to watch even tho I would already have them.
I have the original print, and has the best eye of all my omnis, no gutter loss at all! It lays perfectly! But has a issue (well, it has many issues, but anyway...), the outside spine, if I'm not careful while opening up, it bends inwards, and now has a crack in the middle.
Nice! I went with the standard edition. I agree with Melanie that I'm not the biggest fan of Spidey's disembodied upper torso just floating off to the side on that DM variant. That's interesting that the newer printing appears to be pushed up and to the right. We need more Melanie commentary in videos!
He's talking about the storyline, "The Death of Jean DeWolff." While it's not in this omnibus, it is in the trade paperback titled "Spider-Man: The Road to Venom."

Will definitely be picking this up, but between badly cropped cover images, wrong spine cover printings, and misaligned spines, it would be nice if Marvel tightened up their quality control.
Instead of having such an iconic story like Maximum Carnage as part of a chopped up omnibus where they grab issues from all over the place, they should immortalise it as a Maximum Carnage/Lifetheft omnibus, which then leads straight into Clone Saga vol. 1. With "Maximum Carnage" font sprawled down the spine. Makes so much more sense to me, would look awesome on the shelf, & gives this story the attention it deserves rather than hide it in a mash-up omni. For Venom collectors, it's good as a Venomnibus vol. 0, but i'm looking at it from an ASM point of view.

Bagley and the clone saga were for me the main reasons I stopped reading Spider-Man comics. Terrible artwork, terrible story. Never understood why this was so loved years/decades later..
