Karebu, Look up the term 'Flat Shifting' Its not good for the car, but it gives better acceleration, in real life, dont know about the game.... Shifting down in real life, you should blip the throttle, this is where heel toe comes in. So....in real race driving, u sometimes do press the throttle while shifting, up or down
no way closest to real life man gt5p has physics way more realistic than bg4 and graphics are so much better too but bg4 isnt too bad for an arcade "simulator"
race engines are high rev engines anyway, especially wankels. and unless your 86 was heavily modded against him you you would of got smashed. it was a good run. and dude. its a game...
Notice how he doesn't go up to fourth gear until the very end. He rips the hand-brake like no tomorrow. With a real car, you would've blown your engine, it's the only thing that this game doesn't do, show an engine blow. I would've beaten you with my AE86, that's how bad you were.

with the key, can u tune a car thats faster than the race tuned cars provided for arcade play???
ehm, I found out that pressing and holding the clutch during e-braking yield a better result, just like the D1 driver :) .

this game is really fun, the closest thing to real life.
but i'd rather use my money on a real car then some car in a game.
