I'm a guy here who stumbled on this video. I wasn't so much interested in your fashion chat, but your £25 food budget blew me away & has just made me realise how much money I spend on food. I'm capable of spending £25 for one dinner. Changes are incoming, thanks!
Hi!!! Thanks so much for your comment!! I have a really simple diet and I’m lucky to have a Lidl close by , I find that £25 really does go a long way. And especially with the times we live in I just wanted to show that spending mindfully on a weekly shop of basics can help so much keeping costs down 🙂 appreciate the comment so much!! I am going to do more budget related videos next month 🙂
@@iamelizarosalind Nice one, will definitely check back for budget-related stuff. I'm blessed/cursed in that the nearest supermarket is Waitrose, the crack cocaine of supermarket shopping experiences, but I really need to as you say, be more mindful. Cool content.
@ I grew up in north London …very Waitrose / M&S vibes!! So I get it hehe, my Lidl shop is very much me trying to do a Waitrose style shop on a budget 🙈
I’ve just discovered your channel. I have a compliment for you: your videos go the quickest for me than anyone I have ever watched. That must mean, I am really engrossed and enjoying every second ❤
Hi, Eliza - I am very glad you came back, I loved your videos from years ago and I have always admired your relaxed style, exquisit handbags taste and beautiful English accent. Have a great Sunday ❤
Aawwww thank you so much!! I needed some time away to come back fresh , you will probably notice we moved house so getting settled in the new flat took a year, but I’m happy to be making content again and now by having the format be more vlogs focusing on intentional slow living, mindful consumption and outfits along side it aligns more with my life, so it is really exciting, and this community growing is bringing so much joy🥰 thanks so much for sticking with me🙏 appreciate you so much xx
just discovered your channel and I loveeeee your vibe! started a no buy month too and always happy to see some people budgeting and everything like that! Greetings from Switzerland!
Absolutely crazy! You are the youtuber I have been wishing to find! I started a no-buy (again) this year, I work from home too and my wardrobe is pretty similar! Wow… I'm excited to see more of your content! Thanks for the inspiration and regards from Germany!
Oh wow!! That’s so cool, basically sisters then 🥰 thank you so much, I’m so overwhelmed by the support, and I’ve just got so much passion for this 💕 next video should be up Monday or Tuesday, looking forward to chatting to you more 🙂 welcome to the community my friend xx
Thank you for this!! I have found with clothes (and actually most of my stuff) that adding items never really made me feel more satisfied. Like you, I would shop and then feel completely overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that I had to deal with! I am so glad that I found your channel and am looking forward to watching more! Thank you, Sarah from Chicago❤
such a nice cozy vibe! I love how you don't rush though. You are intentional with your thoughts and words. Love the fits too esp the white knitted sweater.
Where did you find the grey and camel v neck button up cardigans and what size? I have been hoping to find something like them. We don't have Arket here in the US so hope they didn't come from there. Cardigans like these are a great addition to a simple wardrobe. Thank you for sharing such well done videos. Susan
@@susanvanmeter75 awww they are from arket !! Yeah I hear arket isn’t in US I’m sure this will change it really should. Cos do nice cashmere cardigans too , I have a few from there, I will keep an eye out for similar, are you on instagram?
Thank you for the replying to my question. No I don't really use instagram at this time. I do love COS and their cashmere is great quality. What size did you get in the crewneck oversized sweaters? Love your content. Thanks again.
Oww, Lidl bread is sooo good. 🤤Your Lidl a lot fancier than mine btw with the pre-cooked quinoa! I was already wondering how you were going to survive on £25 of groceries, especially in the UK, but now I see it’s just the essentials. 😅My bf and I actually make quite a lot of soup now. It’s affordable and helps to get those veggies in. 🥕
Yeah , we have other stuff in the cupboards so it’s kinda topping up with extra bits and it’s always lasts a week pretty much 🙂 I eat sourdough bread every day so I think it’s why food goes such a long way hehe!!! X
Produce and herbs continue to give me a difficult time when trying to reduce the weekly spend on food. Buying organic simply is not cheap and there is not much of a way around it. I usually go with sourdough for bread, too, because I have a rather large tinned fish stock in the pantry and sourdough is perfect for making open-faced sandwiches.
Yeh, we have a cupboard of extras like herbs, and then frozen veg which lasts a long time, but the weekly basics I manage to keep low, definitely takes pre planning though ❤️
