Remember in episode 5 when Norm (Lucy's brother) asked Betty what happened to her mothers Pip-Boy and Betty replies "It was buried with her", then Norm asks "How are you so sure?", and then she says "Because I buried her myself. The shape of the observation deck of the tower looks like the Seattle Space Needle, but the terrain around the tower looks like Las Vegas so I believe you are correct. Plus the distance to Vegas is maybe 250 miles where Seattle is well over 1,000 miles.
Great reaction! I saw an intervciew with the show creators, and at first they were concerned about how all the big reveals in this episode were crammed together. They thought about spreading them out, but changed their minds. I'm glad they did, because getting hammered with answers made this episode the cherry on top of a big, beautiful cake of a series. I worry that they set the bar too high for season 2, but we'll see . . .
Moldaver may be dead in the present, but I’m pretty sure her story will continue through flashbacks in season 2, the big question regarding her is, how did she survive for the past 238 years? Was she in a vault? Was she in a cryopod? Is she some kind of advanced ghoul/mutant that doesn’t suffer side effects or go feral? She is the biggest mystery of season 1.
@@craigreipold3931 I think the simplest explanation is the most likely, that she had access to a cryopod either in Vault-tec vault or, more likely, a vault of her own. We know that Mr. House and Sinclair were able to build vaults for themselves, so given Moldaver was a wealthy business owner, I would not be surprised if she had constructed her own vault for self-preservation, especially after she found out about Vault-tec's evil plan.
@@Enterprise2700 I agree with going with the simplest explanation of Moldaver being in a cryopod in her own vault. I only wonder about the ghoul/mutant possibility because of Thaddeus and the chicken F’ers serum that seems to have turned him into a ghoul. Why include that storyline in season 1 if it doesn’t have bigger implications for the story moving forward, beyond being a reason for Thaddeus to hand the head over to Maximus. Just how old is the chicken F’er and where did he come from? Maybe I’m just thinking too much about nothing.
@@craigreipold3931 My understanding is that there is some precedent for serums ghoulifying people, so Thaddeus becoming a ghoul due to that serum is not surprising to me. It would be interesting to see Knight Maximus and Thaddeus's relationship develop in season 2, although I don't know where that story could lead.
We don't actually know whether Vault-Tec dropped the bombs or not, we just know they were planning it. I find it very hard to believe that Barb would let her daughter be outside the day they were planning to drop the bombs. Either Barb was somehow put out of the loop, even though it was her pushing the plan in the meeting, or someone else started the war before Vault-Tec could. I think we might get more info in the next season.
I'm pretty sure Vault-Tec dropped the bomb like Barb suggested. I base this on what Moldaver said about "That's how Vault-Tec deals with competition, just like they did 200 years ago." This implies they started the great war as well as nuking Shady Sands . . .
@@rowenatulley852 The recurring theme of Fallout is "corporation intends to do something horrible, but their plans are wrecked by something unexpectedly even worse". They likely intended to drop the bombs in a non-specific timeframe, but they were beaten to it.
Barb was out of the loop because they were divorced after what Coop heard and it was his day with Janie. That's my guess as to why they dropped the bombs while she was unprotected, or someone else did, or it was someone higher up.
@@AttorneyBCollins She would have to be out of the loop at Vault Tec, not with Cooper because they were divorced. The thought that she would give go ahead with the plan while her daughter was with Cooper somewhere in the city seems very unlikely. She would have made sure that her daughter was in a vault before dropping the bombs, it would literally be her number one priority. So either Vault Tec dropped the bombs without her knowledge, or someone else dropped them before Vault Tec went ahead with their plan (more likely in my opinion).

You seem to recognize New Vegas but not Mr. House at the Vault-Tec meeting? Epic twist of an end. Two heroes finding out the truth about the people they love the most, being responsible for billions of deaths. Lucy is dead inside after finding out her life was nothing but a lie and who her dad really is and her mother. Its good she's going with Cooper. She's going down a dark path, like he did, and hopefully he can steer her in the right direction that isn't so dark.

I'm looking forward to next season, but will certainly see your reactions to other things in the meantime.
One thing i still don't understand is why Coop wants to know where his family is. I mean i understand he wants to know about Barb, who of course is mostly in a vault maybe still frozen, maybe already dead, but his daughter ? Didn't he had her and was riding away with her when the bombs were falling ? So did he riding with here to Barb and gave her to Barb, or what happened here ? But on the other hand, shouldn't Barb then already head been in a vault, since she knew the bombs were falling because she was the one who threw them ?
Despite evrything that has been shown in games and in the show it still isnt certainty that Vault-Tec dropped the bombs. Yes, they had a plan to do so. But Remember the 1st episode? Coop was outside with His daughter when the bombs started going off. His wife would made sure Her daughter was in some vault before they droped the nukes. Im not saying that they didnt dropped them, only that it isnt 100% that they did.
I think they implied the idea of dropping the bombs but it is never known if they actually did. The general theory (pushed by Fallout lore) is that the bombs were dropped by China and USA retalitated resulting in the nuclear apocolypse that they're in. On another note, I love the introduction of New Vegas. I cant wait to see what exactly has happened to it since the events of "Fallout:New Vegas".
It's important to remember Moldaver happily murdered dozens of innocent vault dwellers in ep1 - you can argue who is more or less evil out of her and Hank, but it's just a question of degrees. I have zero sympathy for either character.
No she didn't "happily murder"...remember, she let many of them go at the end ;) She had a goal, Vault Tec/Enclave started it all and had murdered billions, she used Raiders as cannon fodder, there's a huge moral and ethical difference. The minions of Vault Tec, like Hank, are beyond the pale but as always, innocent folk get caught up in the crossfire "War never changes". Cold Fusion = infinite fresh pure water and manufacturing/heat so millions of survivors in the former USA can live secure lives once again, rather than be fodder for beasts and raiders.
Hank and his vault nuked Shady Sands and ended the New California Republic. I can see why Moldaver and her folks would see the vault dwellers as acceptable collateral damage.
I'm curious about the geography. Hank is going to Las Vegas (New Vegas). By foot! From L.A. His Jet pack might help a bit, but mostly on foot. And he's already almost there. And Cooper and Lucy are also likely going there too, again on foot. How far is L.A. to Vegas? Likely not walking distance. However in FO4 a certain character traveled from San Fransisco to Boston. So the game and the series are not too worried about realistic geography in this post-apocalyptic world.
@rowenatulley852 Possibly. Except that the series earlier showed Cooper filling his flask with water. That's a unique feature of Survival Mode. And in Survival Mode, there is no Fast Travel. Nor can one change their modes afterwards.
@rowenatulley852 Yes I get it. And Survival Mode is almost a completely different game from the other modes. But I appreciate your "Norman" like answer.
I wouldn't say 'already'. There's an implied timeskip. Compare his face when he flees to how he look at the end. That's the face of a man who has been walking in sun for a long while.
Its a shame Arcane S2 came out this year as Fallout did deserve to win the best adaption award at the game awards, but i will be shocked if Arcane loses that show is just a masterpeice. We played it - but it crashed alot, so the community helped me a bunch on the Discord server with adding mods to make the playthrough more possible. But if it keeps crashing it'll be on my gaming channel on TH-cam :D
My crazy theory is that Cooper's family went to the vault for senior management. Coop was sent to Vault 4 and was expiremented on with the Ghoul Serum that was given to Thaddeus. Cooper is the original ghoul.
I was afraid that this series would suck, because I really really love the games. Luckily this was really enjoyable and really looking forward to the next season!

The shape of the observation deck of the tower looks like the Seattle Space Needle, but the terrain around the tower looks like Las Vegas so I believe you are correct. Plus the distance to Vegas is maybe 250 miles where Seattle is well over 1,000 miles.
The end credits explicitly shows the Welcome to Fabulous New Vegas sign.
Its the Strat Casino, in Las Vegas, and is a prominent feature in the New Vegas game.
I worry that they set the bar too high for season 2, but we'll see . . .
What a journey this has been with you, loved everyone of your reactions, this show is just so perfect, i cant wait for season 2.
The Outro shows that "The Tops" in New Vegas had a "cryopod suite"... ;)
Yes, NEW VEGAS!! Season 2 can't drop quick enough. November will be fun watching you play New Vegas. 😊.
war never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk. And this road... has reached its end
What a fantastic reaction! So enjoyable watching someone who loves Fallout as much as I do. Thank you, thank you! 🤗
She is a true fan. Me encanto tu reaccion.
Yes, that was New Vegas!
Also, immediately before that, did you notice the skull on the ground?
I'm really looking forward to season two!
They nailed this first season i love the fallout games but i never thought they could pull it off like they did.
Kamilla, I looked and noted that you had not reviewed Bicentennial Man. Starring Robin Williams and Embeth Davidtz. A Great movie....you'll remember it for years to come...Happy upcoming birthday.
5:35 - Dogmeat is a generic name used for Dogs in the Wasteland. CX-404 is not the Dogmeat from Fallout 4. They're literally different breeds.
Hope you are having an awesome weekend!
You appear to have missed Betty, there in Barb's office during the big meeting!
Yes, if you keep watching the end credits they reveal it is New Vegas.
Yes, it's New Vegas. They show the New Vegas sign in the final credits, as well as a whole lot of bad stuff that apparently has happened in New Vegas.
That's a lot of redbull 😂😂😂...loved this reaction
I went into this episode asking the same question: "There's like a thousand unanswered questions, how are they going to wrap this up in one episode?"
Welp, they did a pretty damn good job.
Did you catch a young Mr House in the scene with the various CEOs talking?
Great reactions - and if you had watched the end credts, you would have seen a "Welcome to New Vegas" sign - never played that version, so, like you, totally stoked to see where that goes!
Imagine you love someone, you trust someone more than anyone in this world. When the time comes you wanted to proud of her/him, you wished to... Like a child.
12:23 After all you see her/his true heart and it makes sick. Hard to not vomitting because its unbelieveable. Disgusting. Horrifying.
13:26 look at Mr. Howard's face impression! I feel him perfectly.
Great reaction.
In the end Maximus tries to tell the truth about killing Moldaver and Dane steps in and blocks him.
IMO Moldaver was the leader of the NCR at the end.
Norm should be able to outsmart Buds brain in season two.
As you said, bittersweet. I was looking forward to this reaction with both excited anticipation and dread. It was for me the stand out best episode of a series whose 'worst' episode was still entertaining and well worth the time to watch. On the other hand, I dreaded getting to this point, because it is the last episode and now we all have to wait for season 2. I myself, have only played Fallout 4, but I need to find the time to check out New Vegas and 3 at the very least. Thank you for the fantastic reaction to this season!
The episode where most people realize The Ghoul is the good guy.
Loved this season! Loved your reactions! Bring on Season 2! 😉♥
they do show the new vegas sign at the end credits... so mayybee???
Despite evrything that has been shown in games and in the show it still isnt certainty that Vault-Tec dropped the bombs. Yes, they had a plan to do so. But Remember the 1st episode? Coop was outside with His daughter when the bombs started going off. His wife would made sure Her daughter was in some vault before they droped the nukes. Im not saying that they didnt dropped them, only that it isnt 100% that they did.
also you probably were not paying attention but copper did use to wear one he mentioned he used to serve in the military.
Can't wait to see if they meet Mr. House.
Of Note; the code to unlock the cold fusion is the release date of the original game 😯
I will never forget that squeak that you made.centane😺
YEEESSS!! just seen this upload 😆☺️
bombs dropped indeed. for 27 years falloutplayers have been trying to figure out who dropped the bomb, one of biggest mysteries of the franchise.
It's is new vegas. But this series happens to fall 9yrs after fallout 4 so it's been nearly 20yrs since the events of new vegas.
It's the Golden Rule, Mother F'er. For the first time people are going to see the flip side of the rule.
Vault Tec is the villian in Fallout.
Rewatch this episode there are some things you might have missed... check out the end credits as well
Centane Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
25:04 LAS VEGAS🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
There are more "hints" to New Vegas when the credits roll.
That heap of Bulla Cola in the background... Are you stocking up for some post-apocalyptic event? :)
Now wait till 2025 for the next season
I love fallout
Your nails are fire
thank you
I think they implied the idea of dropping the bombs but it is never known if they actually did.
New Vegas baby
It's important to remember Moldaver happily murdered dozens of innocent vault dwellers in ep1 - you can argue who is more or less evil out of her and Hank, but it's just a question of degrees. I have zero sympathy for either character.
No she didn't "happily murder"...remember, she let many of them go at the end ;)
She had a goal, Vault Tec/Enclave started it all and had murdered billions, she used Raiders as cannon fodder, there's a huge moral and ethical difference.
@@thgeremilrivera-thorsen9556 Yup, it's all out war
Moldaver still chose to be merciful though, unlike Hank
There are very few good guys in Fallout. There are only shades of grey. That's sort of the point - what are you willing to do to survive?
Saddest okey-dokey ever.
The real tragedy of this finale, is that both Lucy and Maximus got what they asked for in the very first episode. Just not how they wanted to get it.
LOL He used fast travel . . .
@rowenatulley852 Possibly. Except that the series earlier showed Cooper filling his flask with water. That's a unique feature of Survival Mode. And in Survival Mode, there is no Fast Travel. Nor can one change their modes afterwards.
@@x_trio_3_po333 LOL I'm too chicken to play survival mode, but that makes perfect sense. However, I was being facetious . . .
I am curious to know what happened to that Fallout NV playthrough you mentioned, November is almost over and i didnt see it in your vods.
Luckily this was really enjoyable and really looking forward to the next season!
and now the long wait for season 2.
Yes, New Vegas was not made by Bethesda, it was made by Obsidian Entertainment, which contained many original Fallout creators from Black Isle Studios. I'm looking forward to your New Vegas playthrough. Will you be playing it with Viva New Vegas? I certainly hope so.
the ending was like play new vegas cx
Tell us you didn't watch the end credits without telling us you didn't watch the end credits :)
New Vegas for season 2 🎉
Viva New Vegas!
I think your nails are very pretty.
thank you!!
You're the best!
For a different take on Fallout Shelter life, could you react to Brendan Fraser in Blast from the Past? Thanks!
Okie dokie
When something is so good, wait for it to continue sucks. I'm in my 50s and have never before so been anticipating a second season of anything.
do you have enough red bull????
we can ask them for more if needed 😎
I sure hope that North Korean Dictator, Kim Jong Un doesn't get any crazy ideas from this series.
Let's Go
I always knew Hank wasn't s***
