Ordered myself one today. Too pricey here at $995 but oh well it’s only money. I will just use it as a streamer to try Tidal through it in a wired connection. My amp has an upgraded DAC which would be better than the nodes DAC so I will go digital out, probably coaxial. I would of bought a higher quality priced streamer but it seems difficult to work out what a better one actually is. I read of issues with many of them, mostly on the user interface reliability. I think the general consensus is the blu os interface is pretty solid. I’m ok to sacrifice a little in audio quality for interface stability any day.
Glad you finally decided on the node and welcome to the dark side 😉. Yes, there are better quality streamers out there but they don't hold a candle to Blue OS's UI. Unless you end up getting Roon (which your Node will also support). Going Coax is great and there are ways of improving the Node's sound down the road. Stay tuned for that and let me know how you like the Node. 🍻
