Well spoken. Respected. Admired. A pillar. But rather rigid. I could listen for hours because even his vernacular is soothing to the soul. It’s not as if the old system didn’t possess its own flaws. Being in a club means exclusion. If we expect some to reach higher, we have to include them despite …. Life in and of itself is a work in progress.

What a treasure he is! Sad to see he has not a bigger audience.

In an ill-fated discussion on the Ukraine war I had with a friend and not being an advocate for one side or another, I commented, " It is more complicated and there is a long history to this area..
Looking at videos of people escaping Kiev... she said, "Well that was then and this is now!"
In a similar argument over Taiwan, her defiant comment was "Treaties are made to be broken.."
To introduce additional information threatens her condensed point of view and is met with hostility...

The rise of television may be an explanation for the rise of dyslexia. A symptom of dyslexia is “eyes all over the page” rather then the structured discipline of reading a line and then dropping line and, reading the next line. Today, this may account for the rise of the key-word. Key-words are great but if you don't read, it diminishes the language...

The naivete of that lady who talks about "self correcting internet" is fantastic. Well, I have hindsight ... like for instance the number of views and likes this video has.

Perhaps I am obsessive, but I always pay special attention when someone scratches their face, or coughs. This subtle body language lends insight into the subconscious feeling that cannot or will not be described by the relatively "new" phenomenon of spoken language.

at 11:14, you also hear some sort of cell phone interference at the precise moment he scratches his nose before he hesitates to suggest the "worship" of money.

      Superficial and utterly ridiculous nonsense.

Consider this: the internet while it does create distraction and children need much guidance for disciplined learning. Still one can’t discount a greater truth. Steve Jobs once said, “Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer.” This piece more accurately discloses the true purpose of the internet.
