I did my best trading between noon at 3pm. I got completely destroyed many times the first hour....too fast, get stopped out, etc etc. I'm trading right now as I watch this - 9pm central. Much slower, easier to see and follow - doesn't jump all over the place. That's just me.
You should add the link from the video the other day about waiting to see how the market plays for a a candle or 5 (depending your preferred time frames), in case anyone new has missed it. I thought that video was gold as it was something I'd picked up on my own, but would find that a real gem if it hadn't made itself aware to me. As always, very good content and thanks 👍🏼
I actually make 99% of my gAins during pre and after hours. Every now and then I trade during MO. A lot of low float tickets end up running pre marker and after hours. I wake up at 4am when it opens. Until around when Robin Hood opens at 9. Then take a nap and get back on after lunch time :)
Should buy pre market or buy after 9 when it drops and for selling would I wait till the morning to sel like everyone else or should I set limits and pull out when I hit them?

I needed this. I have now set up a new trading rule. I will trade 9.30am - 12:00am. Revisiting Power Hour from 3-4 to see if there are any good setups. As far as Premarket and After Hours, I will look to those only if there is a chart pattern (mainly a consistent ascending bullish chart). I would avoid shorting for sure in these Limit-only markets.
In addition, I will respect the rules of not overtrading. If I fail 3 times, I will stop for the day. If my amount to risk per trade falls through 3 times, I will stop. And if my max risk is met, I will stop.

I wake up early and it sucks seeing stocks flare up premarket, as soon as it hits 4 in the morning Only reason is when you buy a lot of shares, the market is too low volume for instant sales, you will be stuck with shares not being sold, even if you're up 30% in profits lmao
and the past two days volume has literally vacated (summer time trading) after the first hour to almost nothing, even during the last hour. Its like watching snails race. 🐌🐌🐌

The time you mentioned 9:30 am is EST, so I need to trade at 6:30 a.m in pst.
