Ethni and Serene, I’m so incredibly proud of you both! This interview brings tears to my eyes. Ever since you were little girls, I knew you both were so special. You have grown up to be beautiful, elegant, and inspirational women! Your family, friends, and beautiful country are blessed to have you! I also have to shout out your beautiful mother who has been such a powerful and inspiring guiding light! I’m sure she feels your love even in this interview. I love you all! Keep shining bright girls!🩷✨
Nathan , always I am so proud of you what you did for unprivileged children in Ethiopia and your dedication to serve our Church . God bless you always.
@Helen Amazing program as always! What an inspiring young guests you interviewed today. I just wished many Ethiopian audiences could benefit from this episode. Is there a way the editors could add a subtitle or voice over in Amharic? Keep up the great work you are doing!!!
I am so proud of Ethni and Serene. You both are amazing young ladies and looking forward to see you do wonderful things. You are great role models to my little girl Liya and she is very proud of you too.
Happy to see Ethni & Serene giving an interview on Helen show. Well done guys!! You always make us very proud. You grew up to be Loving and Caring personalities; we need young people like you to make the world a better place for millions of people including people suffering in Ethiopia. We are also proud of Mimi for doing a great job raising two Lovely girls and we look forward to see you do amazing things!! We love you guys ❤️ ❤️
Bravo Nathan!. I truly appreciate what you're doing as a young person-your dedication to helping others and volunteering where there is a need is inspiring. Growing up, many of us enjoyed simple joys like bathing in the fresh, flowing river; we didn't see ourselves as lacking just because we didn’t have running water at home. Bucket baths were a part of life, and we embraced them. There is, of course, much to be done to improve lives and address challenges in Ethiopia, including areas with limited water access. However, it’s important to use language thoughtfully when describing communities like ours. Phrases such as "kids with flies all over their faces" can be unintentionally negative and don't represent the full picture. Not everyone in Ethiopia is poor, just as not everyone in the U.S. is wealthy; poverty and struggle exist in every country. So, my advice is to avoid generalizations and choose words that respect the dignity of all children and communities. Otherwise, Keep up the amazing work.
I have had the great pleasure of meeting the amazing twin girls and if you believed their interview was phenomenal, wait until you meet them in person! Their mother is an impressive human being and has been such an illuminating guiding light. The world is a better place with young individuals of this mindset.
