    This build is looking better and better Glyn 😁easily the best modified 350. Out there 👍👊😁
    When I swapped the bars on my Classic 350 I loosened every thing on the bars before loosening the yolk bolts and glad I did as it was all really tight esp the bar ends 😁
    With grips I push in a Philips head screwdriver and rotate it clock wise and it slowly turn around the grip un sticking it with the aid of some W40 😎😁👍
    Refitting some clear lacquer spray slides the grip on then it sets tight👍
    When finished your bike will look like it’s ready for the Apocalypse 😜😁👍👍👍
    Cheers Bruce

      Thanks very much Bruce, you're very kind and that's praise indeed 😊That's a great tip, I was so excited to get the new ones on I didn't think about loosening the old gear whilst they were still attached. I've got some clear lacquer so can give that a try too, there's nothing worse than grips that spin about! The gaiters are on now and they look great too. Cheers, Glyn

      What bars did you fit Bruce? I'd like to fit something similar to what Glyn is using here on my classic 350 as I find the position a bit too upright.

    The bridge connecting the lower handle bar clamps might be there to simplify assembly as it means you can tighten them in place without having to check their alignment with each other.

    Impressing work and perfect custom build. I am watching the progress from the start. First not sure, in which direction it should go and it is looking better and better for me. For the rear end I would alway prefer it with the rack and not thinking about going without for optical reason. I think not the rear light is the problem but the rear seat. The gap between fender and seat always make the seat looking not belonging to the bike. But with the rack it looks in the big picture just awesome perfect. greetings fram Hamburg :-)

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Danke Schon! I wasn't quite sure of the direction either and have let that unfold. I much prefer the rack also as it helps tie everything together as you say. There may be a little more work done there yet though. Thanks for watching, Glyn

In every detail I see and feel your love and passion, the fine craftmanship you put into this outstanding project. Great video. Thinking about throwing some 14" apes on mine. I will have to watch your other videos. Hopefully there is one on your rear fender assembly. Cheers.
    Edit: about how much play you have with the clutch and brake cables? Like how much extra length?

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Yes, there is certainly one on the fender with measurements if you want to copy it too. The bars I put on are a little lower but wider so the slack seemed to be the same so that all worked out. If you're in the UK I might have some cables for apes available soon. Thanks for watching👍
