Yeah. As a former Rocket League pro (If you know about the game, then you know about what the devs did), it is great to see devs who care about the game.
Played one of my best games last night going 38 and 2. My score was 27,950 as I went on a 28 killstreak before dying... Let that sink in. To put that into perspective in an objective based game I average around 7000 score. This was the equivalent of playing 4 occupy games for me while saving a whole hour of grinding. Leveled up my gun 8 times before picking up another and leveling that one up 10 times.
As for my thoughts on this, I think it is a great addition to the game on one condition. That they reward people more for playing the objective in objective based modes. If the objective in TDM is to get kills and not die then it makes 100% sense to reward someone with a high K/D. The same should be done if someone plays occupy and spends a lot of time on the point for example.
@@andyfernandez6237 I agree but not towards weapon xp, I feel like you should only get weapon xp for actions acheived as a direct result of the bullets from your gun. That's just my take though personally

And maybe not get points from just holding an objective but what about getting more xp to the gun for specifically getting kills while defending/attacking objective because as of right now you get the same xp whether or not your on the point for kills.
Think we could get a best weapon attachment guide for some of your favorite weapons currently. Would love to see what you’re running on the mp7 or AK for example. At any rate been loving the xdefiant coverage as of late keep ‘em coming 💪🏼
NGL, I kinda wish that weapon XP was based on objective score and not kills. This game is an objective based game so it would make sense to reward the player who played the objective.

I think it would be cool to have a camo that is essentially a factory fresh gun (factory new without the wear and tear of the base gun models) earned via 100 kills with no attachments, I know I am weird but I like the naked weapon challenges.
Does this xp stacking help towards your battle pass as well? Im struggling to find any videos on how battle pass xp works. Not sure if its time based like other games or if its performance based.
i'm enjoying this game a ton, but once you have double xp rolling in every weekend from friday to monday, it feels literally useless to grind and level up at any time outside of the double xp window. like a literal waste of my time knowing I could go 2x or even 4x faster during the weekend. I play an hour or two after work, it's fun, but I circle around weapons cause I keep thinking "if I did 5 levels today for one gun, it could have been 10 or even 20 during the weekend". am I the only one?
i had a match with 40 some kills and a 28 or 29 kill streak with double points active, more than 27k points and more than 20 levels between 3 weapons cus i had to switch between weapons on the ground
I love the game but I really want it to come to steam also I'm so happy that I'll be able to play this on my new rtx 4090 laptop that will coming in 3-4 days
They should've made after 50 it slows down because I like the grind and seeing people in a lobby who you know have grinded for that. Now it's just everyone has gold and there is nothing more to do and when they bring out more level rewards won't matter cause everyone will have them right away. It's like am I supposed to have a whole month or two months off so they can bring new camos out at a higher level and now I have something to progress to again? Because if I keep leveling my guns now I will always be ahead of the system which is something I actually don't want as it gives me no feeling of progression. Thing is it's going to feel good for now to those who haven't grinded but I bet within time other's will start realizing this problem. Unless a prestige system resets this or they slow it down it's basically made gun levels mean nothing once you get up there. Everyone after this weekend will have Gold when I think Gold and such Camoes should take a month or a couple to get there really.
There’s no shot you see “everyone” with gold. I have a couple dozen hours into the game and I don’t even have a single gun bronze yet. The gun leveling was a good change imo.
@@Atrain1349 Any player worth their salt will have gold. 15 kills is like...the bare minimum in terms of kills. Players like me are pretty much guaranteed to get a level or two a game with no booster or weekend. I could play 2 games a day dropping 30 kills each (not very hard to do), every day for 50 days and have the gold camo...2 games A DAY, no boosters, no 2XP. If I played an extra game, I could shrink that even further to 25 days... If I was a psychopath and played 4 games and did consistently in each of them...2 weeks. 30 kills is pretty average and I've seen plenty of people get over 50, a few 70s and a single person over 100 kills. Gold, or any other camo for that matter, will not be special to anyone who can actually play games (both skill and time wise.) 😂

I've also missed playtime on weekends so I've been missing double exp yet have such levels. And if you do any of those weekends and use a double exp on top you get it done with one weekend for sure. And no i already explained why new mastery's won't work. Imagine if you will that all you Exp you gain after a BP goes directly onto the next one. Then the next BP comes out and you've already nearly finished or have due to that Exp carry over you would then lose that sense. Some would love that thinking yay I get all the stuff right away, but I am more actually I would rather play and feel the progression. There is a reason why I complete a BP I usually don't play until the next one. Now tbf there is a amount of guns to level up so that will help, but if it becomes a point where a new patch drops for mastery introducing 2 more cameos at level 300 and 400. Yet my guns are in the 500s welp there goes an update giving me nothing to grind for. I don't want it be tedious thing just want to find that sweet spot where it takes a season to get those cameos really so by the time the next drops you should feel ready to start from 0 again.

Try aiming it like at a wall close to them because it’s explodes n splash damage but it’s mainly used for cutting off a flank on an objective because if someone touch the fire trail it basically let you kno where the enemy at

Xdefiant is bad lol the core of the game doesn't even work for half of us. Having sponge bullets makes the game unplayable, you're basically just there for the people with good connection to shoot and kill with three bullets, and have them think they're good at the game lmao

I've been playing XDefiant since launch, and in my experience, it's similar to playing BO2/BO3 for the first time. Except the feeling doesn't fade
This also explains why sometimes players with the most kills don't always have the most score.

I had a very lucky game yesterday and had a 35 kill streak in TDM and leveled my gun 12 times with no extra xp boosts
with 4x xp you would have gotten 48 levels in one game thats amazing

You dont get killstreak score in other gamemodes, its 100xp per kill no matter what as thats not the objective of the game in those modes
