And thereupon its horizon he saw a young woman standing, her back faced toward him. Her figure was defined and her uniform was familiar but nothing of her garbs invoked his nostalgia more than her rich, braided hair. He stood upright, bewildered by the illustrious apparition and started toward her until he remembered the lack of ground between them. Alas there in the water, a path of lilies bloomed from seeming nothingness. He set his foot upon one as it spanned wide enough to swallow him if it would. He surreptitiously traversed, sometimes watching his step but he made sure to keep the object of his desire in his peripheral, lest she vanish. As he came closer, he found her silent aversion all the more peculiar. He called her by her name. She did not answer. Finally, he stepped on the platform and soaked in her presence with careful strides. He found himself saying her name again although it was obvious that she could hear him. She was overwhelmingly mystique. He reached out, gradually and grasped her shoulder, drawing her around. It'd been a while since he'd seen her face. As she turned he was met by stunning eyes, pools of cosmic beauty that seemed to illuminate the contours of her face. And as she turned, she also greeted him with a majestic longsword that sent the springs depths into instant chaos with a single swing.
