Hope you enjoy this one, It must have had LOTS of changes during the season because there are lots of videos of different version BUT this is teaching you what they played at NATS!
this was one of the first breaks i tried to learn and i just didn’t understand how to do it but this video is sick at explaining how to play it, especially that middle part with the fast doubles. thanks !!!!!
You are a brilliant teacher and these videos are so well constructed that even I am actually getting a grasp of this! Greetings from Scandinavia (where this is not a thing) :)
Yeah, we don't have this stuff in schools - so it's probably a hobby of a handful of people. But thanks again - I'm' so happy I'm finally getting somewhere with this!
any tips on getting the single strokes even? i find myself crushing them together. and separate question, do you use more wrist or fingers on single strokes that fast?
This is a good break . My only problem will be getting the speed up. But then I don't have to because I no Longer play in a corps. I only play to make sure I can keep up my chops.
Tbh with almost all of these breaks I take a few days to a week of playing lots of times to get the speed to be able to play along with the line. Tour chops is definitely a thing.
@@FreestyleRudimentsas someone who has never marched corps or even been to audition camps, are they expected to roll up to their pre-season practices being able to crank this stuff out at close to the target tempos? I've always wondered if the people who march BD and etc. are just so skilled they can learn their show music within like a week if not just outright sightread large parts of it because I can't imagine they go through the early parts of the season just running through this stuff at really slow tempos as a line
