@@AutoRestoMod Outside of pb blaster and prayers, I want to salvage my front bumper without sawz alling it from the front. Any other tips or tricks for carriage bolts that spin freely?
Oh the Joys of tearing into an Older vehicle .... Finding all the unseen problems that you didn't count on....and having to deal with them, (or not) before you move on toward your intended task.... Looking good guy's...also looking forward to seeing the A/C install....
Yep. All the same stuff. We'll be doing the install as soon as the parts get here. 302 will only require existing brackets (from Vintage or yours). Everything else is the same.
AutoRestoMod Car Restoration Modification cool lol i thought since you have a big block in your truck and mine is a smallblock that there might be a difference. looks like i will have to go to the junkyard. could the brackets be off a car or should they be from a truck.?
Great episode gents! I'm very much looking forward to your AC episode(s) as I have a 71 F100 myself that NEEDS AC. I don't see a listing for the system on the Vintage Air website. Do you have a link to share?
Good stuff! Keep the F100 videos coming. Looks like you will...for a while.. :) I still have the factory integral AC setup but it doesn't work. I'd be very interested to see you putting in the Vintage AC system in that truck.
wait a minute..didnt you guys already check this motors stroke out and it came up to be 3.780 ???...a 428's stroke is 3.980 ...well either way a 390 or 428..both are good ...if you find out you actually have the 3.980 stroke..it could also be the 66/67 merc 410
I wish the bumper I was able to find for the F250 was as nice as the one you removed.
LOL it ain't that nice in person...
The camera adds ten pounds and makes old parts 10 times prettier.

Every time you said Vintage Air, I heard Ben and Jerry's. Ha Ha Ha. Great video as always. Really dig the Truck.

The bumper is trash?
The old one was. Looks better on video than in person.
@@AutoRestoMod Could it be buffed or painted?
What's the green work stool / seat you guys are using? Looks like it could be a good thing for other grumpy old folks to use
I broke a Inner fender cab bracket bolt off on the firewall. Can those be reached from under the dash?
Chad, can you send me a picture of the general area you are talking about? jford@autorestomod.com

I am searching for one to go back in to replace the 360.
I wish you had done that exhaust donut on camera.

Aluminium heads and intake would save about 1000 lbs🙌😝
That's roughly $2 a pound...and only $1,000 less than the whole truck set me back! LOL
"And on the next episode we get the body off and onto a rotisserie". haha

AutoRestoMod Car Restoration Modification no...just too many episodes of Roadkill....Engine Masters....and oddly liking Edsel's!
Chainsaw in the engine bay. Why? Hahaha
Ford put all manner of crazy things in the engine Bays including an Onan generator. Dual battery setups we're not uncommon either.
