While okay, yeah sure but if someone goes for a first time like you did and ends up paying way more than they expected to then they're less likely to keep going. Unless you end up doing it yourself, this results in very matted unkempt animals. Charge what you say you're going to and don't inflate the price just because you don't like the animal.

For Mikey, my suggestion is finding a mobile groomer. My dog is terrified of running water, however she loves her mobile groomer. It’s just the one dog in the van at a time so less stimulation and it makes them feel more at ease. A little more expensive at times, but for my dog it’s just what she needs.
I have two piggies their so cute specially the personalities are super fun to have it’s a really fun experience watching and popcorn and it’s really fun and I take your advice to care for my guinea pigs the right way without hurting my guinea pigs

Glad they are being rehomed... A bit sad the girls are being separated into pairs and the boy piggie is staying. I know its easier for them to be adopted, but because they are bonded and I always think, "what if they miss their family/friends" this is silly but it's because I'm a goofball lol, probably why I almost went for 2 pigs to 6 at one point... before practicality won out. So side note in light of the grooming cost as a bather/grooming assistant I could only imagine the reason why it was more expensive would be because as you said the groomer said it was a little difficult and most groomers do charge a difficulty fee so just at home try turning on a razor and touching your dog's paws to desensitize your dog:)

I have 2 new male guinea pigs :) I've had them for a week and a half now. Their cage is the right size they have more than one house, I've seperated their bowls so they don't get annoyed easily. This past week (monday to wednesday) the bigger pig started purring/rumbling and the smaller one is squeeling/whining. This morning I found a patch of hair missing on the smaller one. I'm super sad and I don't know if this is normal 🤍 please help
