After 34 moves and a 98.9% accuracy, his account was closed for violating chess.com fair play policy. Will update this as soon as I have more info.
More info available now! Nikhil was using an engine. Here's the link:
Nikhil's response to this on Twitter twitter.com/nikhilkamathcio/status/1404320236543696898
    Anand's response to Nikhil's tweet twitter.com/vishy64theking/status/1404327170550288388
Video was made as soon as the game ended and there is no mention of this in the actual video. I didn't think someone would use an engine in a charity event and it never even crossed my mind.
All in all, Anand basically crushed Stockfish here :)

Now that the title of the video is correct, let’s make something clear. Anand was playing multiple games at once. Anand was thinking close to twice as fast as stockfish, while multi-playing. To play this well against stockfish under those circumstances is borderline miraculous.

@@nicbentulan My dear friend, thank you for your argument. I don't like it at all, I am sorry.
Only "legit" reason I could find would be that the man decided to do it for a higher audience / publicity / ratings, hence more money for the charity.
I know it was not that case. I won't explain it here, but you can ask for it.
All the other reasons you name .. just don't, please. I find it absolutely not funny using chess engine. I am a chess player, but I also find nothing funny when idk a Trackmania player cheats when thriving for a track record.
For me it is clear. The "gentleman" has just this "ego setup" and that is it. Good for him in one way (it probably helped him to gain his money) and good for the rest of the world, because now you can see there is always price for the money. Not necessarily pleasant, always.

I repeat, EVERY MOVE from move 5 onwards by black is the top recommendation. Even if Nikhil cheated, he shouldn't have done it so blatantly that he used the top recommendation on every single move. Something I always love about Anands games, he rarely ever makes jarring mistakes, instead more often is seen making minor miscalculations if at all. One of my favourites against Carlson stating a pawn loss to be a piece sacrifice for activity as defending it would have choked down his possition too much, despite this Carlson was implying the pawn ended up losing Anand the game, one of the situations both players went over the game right after it was played to see what could have been done better. Stockfish eval at the time(this is 4-5 years ago before AI engins took over so perhaps this is different now) even agreed to Anands idea.

Yes, you are country's youngest billionaire, but Vishy is also India's first GM. The man is the reason why chess got so blown up in India. He broke all the stereotypes and showed that if you're good at something, you can excel at that. When players from other countries were whining about sponsors and funds, Vishy was eating legends. Coming from a country where we all know how much the government gives a shit about other sports except cricket. And here in 2021, we have our youngest billionaire cheating in a charity event, trying to protect his so called pride against a 5 time world champ. I didn't know who this guy was so I Googled his bio. Turns out he used to play chess at a national level, and was even 2000+ rated at some point. I analyzed the game with Stockfish 12 to see where Vishy went wrong because I figured it was a Simul and it's not uncommon to blunder when you're playing so many people at once. Stockfish produced a result that Nikhil played at 98.9% accuracy, which from my knowledge is next to impossible for someone who isn't a GM themselves to achieve (I think the metric is if you're not a GM, 96% is a sort of soft cap). Moreover, looking at his previous games he lost a few blitz games to 900 rated players at extremely low accuracy for the rating he peaked at. I peaked at 1979 FIDE and to this day maintain a solid rating of 2200 across all online time controls, however my accuracy doesn't dip below 50% despite not having studied the game for years. I'm not going to say the guy was cheating, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's quite unusual to see such a huge difference in accuracy between a few games, where the majority were quite poorly played.

He's probably going to flaunt about this game to his rich friends, how he defeated a world champion in chess and aad another feather to his cap. Vishy didn't want to ruin the charity stream and also Kamath's public image, he's been the flag bearer of Indian chess for more than 30 years now and he never got involved in any controversy. This was a very shameful act by Kamath, he should get called out for this but I think Vishy wouldn't want that either. Vishy just resigns and let's the cheater get what he wants but at what cost?
