    Lets face facts. Klopp is not even in the top 4 Premier League managers. Ferguson, then Pep, then Wenger then Mourinho are all way ahead of him in EPL titles won. Ergo as Premier League managers go, he cannot be rated close to the best. Managers are simply not remembered for what they did NOT win. He won the Champions League once. He is not even the best Liverpool manager. Cracking manager yes but he also had a team relegated in Germany - thats not a great example of man-management. Klopp is a cracking manager but as far as the top league in the world is concerned.....he's won it once - and who knows what might have happened without Covid?

    • @maxking3
      @maxking3 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You want to tell me, that Pep, who broke through managing the richest Spanish Club (with Messi on the roster), going on to manage the richest German Club (spending 100Mio more on transfers than the closest opponent … each year) and then spending over 1bn net at Manchester City, where Klopp spent 80M net in the same timeframe… that Pep is a better manager than the guy, who brought a 2nd league club to the Bundesliga for the first time (they‘re still in it), brought Dortmund back from financial collapse by winning two Bundesliga titles and 2 DFB cups vs the Bavarian super-spenders and then took Liverpool to all major trophies with a team he built for next to nothing?
      Sorry, man. Klopp never wanted to go to a „default winner“ of a club. He excels at projects where he turns the underdog into champions. He‘s done it wherever he went. They put up statues whenever he leaves. He is a legend. And for the resources at his disposal, he is clearly the best.

    • @here.3070
      @here.3070 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@maxking3 He has won ONE Premier League in 7 years. On purely EPL terms alone he is the 5th most successful EPL manager. Thats a simple fact. Also, damning yourself by your own pen, you alluded to a difference in spend between Pep and Klopp of only around £20m - you do realise Klopp is well over a £1B at Liverpool since he arrived dont you?

    • @maxking3
      @maxking3 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@here.3070 Those numbers are incorrect.
      In the 9 years at Liverpool he has spent 254M net. That‘s less 30M a season. (Bought for £807m, sold for £553m.)
      Until his first title in 2020 he was below 100m net spent.
      Othe clubs net spend in comparison: Man City: £692.3m, Arsenal: £696.2m, Chelsea: £835.7m, United £888m.
      And the 92 points total in 21/22 would have won the PL in 27 of 31 seasons, while the 97 points in 2018/2019 would have won the PL in 29 of 31 seasons.
      Add two Bundesliga titles with meddling and nearly bankrupt Dortmund to the mix (completely rivitalizing the club) and you have a legend. No question about it.
