this video is great! but i have a little difficulty because there is no auto-generated english subtitle (english is not my mother language so im bad at listening but a little good at reading), but rather vietnamese
may I ask, are all correlation association always reciprocal? from the example you mentioned, can the response variable be an explanatory variable, and vice versa? I ask because it's a bit confusing to differentiate "correlation association" and "regression relationship"
Hey! In a sense yes... if we switched the response and the explanatory variable, the strength of the association will appear to be similar, BUT by putting the explanatory variable on the y axis and the response variable on your x axis, the information that the graph presents to your readers would be communicated incorrectly. For example, if you would like your graph to show that the number of miles walked may affect weight, by switching the axes, you would be saying that weight may affect the number of miles walked (perhaps true, but not the message I set out to communicate)
Your style is clear and concise. Thank you for creating this video!

thank you for the vedio it was easy to understand and relate
You are welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Do we need to join the dots in simple scatter plotting???
Hi! No need to join the dots... if asked to, you may need a "best fit regression line"/"line of best fit"
