I enjoyed this. These cars are different from one another. Different categories. So comparisons are relative to each car. For the five cars here it's matter of a person's wiring, and use, as to what is a pro or con. Pros and Cons can be different among people when considering just one car. My personal wiring goes for the Mini first, and the Acura a close second. It's not that the other three cars don't have value. What's Pro about all cars is that there's a lot choices so everybody can find a good fit.
The car was built for the English market and the drivers side is on the right side in England and Ireland so it's on the correct side for the driver to open the bonnet

However you get other not UK like car (which are German design - mostly had VW's over the years and restoration of a 6n2 Polo GTI currently) features like having filler cap left side compared to German cars use to have left side or drivers side being RHD Vs you guys being LHD drive in US filler cap correct side for you.

I have a R56 Mini Cooper and left bonnet pull/etc still on the right (but bonnet release in center). Odd others things like they left the fuel filler on left side (usual for a German design car which normally have them on right side).
Oh oops forgot what I said about bonnet pull (I have only recently got my 2007 R56 Mini Cooper) and as said more use to VW group vehicles that have bonnet pull drivers side (RHD) for UK. Ummm my R56 Mini had the bonnet pull on the Left-hand side! Go figure what's the point? It means they are swapping bonnet pull side depending on being LHD/RHD and never on the whatever side driver is!!
Interesting, here in the UK, my cooper bonnet lever is also in the passengerside footwell - on the left. I just presumed it was there cos far more LHD cars are built than RHD...!
I drive a 2009 Mini Cooper mellow yellow supercharge I love it it’s fast it takes premium gas it uses a lot of gas but My foot is always on it easy to park fun to drive will not part with it paid $30,000 brand new it’s fully loaded with all kinds of gadgets by the way your girlfriend is very cute or whites if she’s your wife I said with all due respect and my Mini Cooper club compartment does not open up so there must be some type of malfunction with yours but it’s a nice look at Mini Cooper
They are hella expensive. I sold mine and the one before that because the maintenance cost me a lot... But I guess it depends on where you buy it and from which year it’s build.
mini coppers just look cool, i’m getting one as a first car in a few months.

The release/catch for the hood is on the right since it's supposed to British and drivers sit on the right in the UK.
Mines on the left and I’m British which doesn’t make sense

The bonnet release is on the passenger side because it’s a British car. Or at least was produced there.
