Half-Life's world would not be able to handle any of the mercs: - Scout chugs a six pack of toxic waste mixed with sugar daily. - Soldier uses explosive rockets as a method of self transportation, successfully I might add - Pyro is....self explanatory - Demoman's body naturally produces alcohol so he's drunk 24/7, to say nothing of the cursed sword business - Heavy can kill a bear ten times his size with nothing but his bare fists - Engineer figured out compact, portable, and safe teleportation tech way before Black Mesa or Aperture Science even came close to building a prototype - Medic figured out how to literally bring people back from the dead on the spot - Sniper has mastered the art of jarate - and Spy is french
-Medic also has: An energy shield that can vaporize people, probably the best medical support one could ask for, periodic invincibility, has canonically surgically removed a man's skeleton while keeping them otherwise alive and healthy, and oh by the way he scammed the Devil in-universe. The Combine overlords would be lucky to wake up the next day with just baboon uteri implanted in them if Medic got his hands on them.
This give me a huge Gorgeous Freeman vibes with old gmod animation feeling. And I loved every second of it. Also I need to give a huge props for creativity of the jokes and slapstick humor. This is peak.
