- In this video, Sadhguru explains about what an aura is and how it exists on the periphery of a person. Since a person's aura is more superficial than the skin it should not be of interest to a spiritual seeker. A person on the spiritual path should be focused on the core of his being and if a seeker works on the core, then the aura will reflect this naturally.

I started wondering what color my aura is. I ended understanding that isn't just the surface level of consciousness and mostly superficial. The core, or true self is mind altering. Like i get it. Im that tiny voice inside my soul, and realizing that others are that just as well helps to connect.

Thank you so much! I have been been wanting (not trying) to see auras, learn about them my whole life. I thought I would really try hard this time, master it. My reason is to help me understand myself more, as well as my loved ones, but what you say resonates with my soul life path.. I am of a more matured age by now. I know you're right..... This is the same thing we were taught as kids. That you focus on the heart, the spirit, the personality of the person. If you focus on the skin as he speaks of you are only judging the book by it's cover. You are not learning about, loving the person for who they are. I have believed for many many years that a person is loved because of who they are, not how they look. A person can love you deeply, be loyal, will be there for you, want to help you, but will be shunned because of how they look. Because of an outer appearance. Weight, or seen as ugly. People judge too easily based on what they see on the outside.
This is what I think about when I watch this video. Perhaps there is more too it? I will have to watch this again and again.
Undoubtedly, Sadhguru is great n we are all blessed to have a living guru amongst us. But there's one more person maybe not as great but his Two books are a must read for anyone in the spiritual path. Eckhart Tolle

I love a lot about all off this good natured old wisdom stuff. Beautiful really, and thank you for all this eneregy. Butt..... there is just 1 thing that's like, I'm listening to beautiful music on a old record player and someone just scratch of the needle. And that is when Sadhguru says; " isn't it" aahrr. It's to enforcing, indoctrinating maybe even manipulative. It's not a question, he's not asking anybody nor expecting an answer. , It's totally unnecessary and devoiding. 3|25: not to look on the surface, aura is like the skin, it's on the surface - look into the core.
Auras are not a separate but a part of you
Everything in the Universe seems to be just a vibration of space itself. Light, every atom, every part of an atom, every electron, every elementary “particle”, even encoding, retrieving and processing information in our thoughts and consciousness - all in their essence are just vibrations. Hence, we may define the Aura as a electro-photonic vibration. According to our friends from Thiaoouba, our soul (Astral body) is made of 4*10^21 electrons that store and process information by means of emitting and exchanging photons. These photons influence the Aura that we can perceive. This definition is sufficient for the purpose of reading Auras, providing that we can sharpen our perception and sensitivity to see the Aura vibration.
The single most important property of the Aura seems to be the fact that it contains information about the object.
Aura around living (conscious) objects (people, plants...) changes with time, sometimes very quickly. Aura around non-living object (stones, crystals, water...) is essentially fixed, but can be changed by our conscious intent.
