I’m from Brooklyn, NY, and I watched the Flint City Council meetings on TH-cam, and the meeting went into chaos, people throw cheap shots below the belt toward councilmembers and members of the audience, a food fight, and grievances were revealed by the residents of the community regarding homeowner funds. Including, I felt like I was in the pulpit. Moreover, it's good to pray to God in heaven. I think the elected officials of the Flint City Council members should go to NYC, NJ, or neighboring Ann Arbor, Michigan as a fact-finding mission on how to run legislative meetings in a civilized manner. As for Flint City Councilmen, Eric Mays, I have watched the previous meetings on TH-cam, and Mr. Eric Mays can be funny, entertaining, and sometimes stubborn towards his fellow councilmen and women, including the way other colleagues treated him tonight was not good at all. Councilmen Eric Mays is helping residents of Flint, by highlighting the problems of the council rules, procedures, and motions on the floor. My OPINION: Mays needs to let go of his ego. We don't need to hear again how long he's been on the council. We don't need to hear "Jermaine, Tito, and Jackie" anymore. Eva standing over Burns shouldve awarded her a 30 day censure for intimidating behavior. She received no punishment. If Burns or Mays had done that, they wouldve recieved an automatic punishment. Including, I felt like I was in the pulpit. Moreover, it's good to pray to God in heaven. I think the elected officials of the Flint City Council members should go to NYC, NJ, or neighboring Ann Arbor, Michigan as a fact-finding mission on how to run legislative meetings in a civilized manner. As for Flint City Councilmen, Eric Mays, I have watched the previous meetings on TH-cam, and Mr. Eric Mays can be funny, entertaining, and sometimes stubborn towards his fellow councilmen and women, including the way other colleagues treated him tonight was not good at all. Councilmen Eric Mays is helping residents of Flint, by highlighting the problems of the council rules, procedures, and motions on the floor. But the antics, I think Eric Mays needs to refrain from doing so, it's not helping him with his image as an elected official or his fellow residents of the city of Flint, Michigan.

My OPINION: Mays needs to let go of his ego. We don't need to hear again how long he's been on the council. We don't need to hear "Jermaine, Tito, and Jackie" anymore. We don't need him mebtioning his attorneys anymore because he lost the lawsuit over the presidency and lost the case regarding being put out of the meeting where he was handcuffed. His need to brag, while simultaneously telling everyone he's behind on his water bills and property tax is just weird. He's lucky he's in Flint where people don't seem to have an understanding of order and him talking about the others being recalled is funny because of the crowd, who keeps egging him on, actually believed he was the leader he claims to be, he'd have done better in the mayoral race.

Mays didnt do much of anything wrong. He used tbeir own rules against them. He actually did as civil rights leaders have always done. He showed and the demonstrated the issues with thid council. Its been a known fact that the poor are being let down while downtown and certain Wards are awarded favortism. Regardless of the others issues against Mays, Burns, and JWC, the rules and punishments need to be evenly spread. Eva standing over Burns shouldve awarded her a 30 day censure for intimidating behavior. She received no punishment. If Burns or Mays had done that, they wouldve recieved an automatic punishment.
Mays has things i do and dont agree with, but Arthur Woodson is 100% right about what Eva said. And something needs to be said and done about it.
