This song always gives me the feeling of leaving a devestated and destroyed home behind to adventure forth and find/build a new one in the hopes of having a brighter future than the one you were born into
@Makrov Gundam Seed Eclipse, it's still manga adaptation but it's confirmed if that works is continuation of Gundam Seed Destiny although they introduce new characters too
This song shows the horrors and scarring effects of war on all the poor, unfortunate souls who lost loved ones in it. Gundam Seed is one of the few animes I've seen that shows you how war leaves its scarring on innocent people and the soldiers fighting in it. I know that without war most of the technologies we have today wouldn't exist but I depise war for the death and destruction that follows in its wake, you know?
I don't think I will ever forget how i felt the first time I heard this song. The scene this started in was one of the saddest in Gundam Seed, and things only got darker afterwards, until the very end of the last episode. I can't hear this song and not think about the first time Orb burned, it was so powerful.
this song defines ALL the emotions that Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, Lacus, crews of the Archangel, Kusanagi and Eternal went through in both seed and sedd destiny.
One of the most beautiful song I've heard in anime. My most favourite scene when this played is when Miriallia tries to stab Dearka. After he made an offensive comment about Tolle getting killed. And then Flay even tries to shoot him.
A song that perfectly sums up how utterly bleak "Gundam SEED" actually is. It makes "Victory Gundam" look like "Baby Einstein". To elaborate, "Victory Gundam" was made when Tomino was at his lowest point, which is reflected by the series being crushingly bleak and grimdark, what with almost all characters dying by the end of the series, the horrors of war being touched upon more than ever in contrast to the other "Gundam" series of its time, and a sense of overall hopelessness. That said, bleak as that one was, it still had a very small glimmer of hope that gets played up by the end, and at least there was some humor to balance the tone, showing that as depressing as "Victory Gundam" is, it STILL was a "Gundam" series at heart. "Gundam SEED", on the other hand, is basically "Victory Gundam" turned up to 11, with WAY more deaths than what "Victory Gundam" could've ever aspire to, basically no humor of any kind whatsoever, more mature and complex themes including dehumanization, human nature, omnicide, cloning and more which weren't present in "Victory Gundam" alongside a full display of the full spectrum of the true horrors of war, heavily troubled and tragic characters (both heroes and villains alike), an even bleaker tone compared to "Victory Gundam" (impossible as it might sound, but "Gundam SEED" perfectly achieved it), and a full-blown downer ending, all being elements that are completely out-of-place in the "Gundam" franchise. In other words, "Gundam SEED" is less "Gundam" and more "Neon Genesis Evangelion", and this song (which sounds an awful lot like "A Cruel Angel's Thesis", just to really sell it) fits all of this to a T.
We live in a life that dont need any war but there are places that thrive on war destroying the weak. Some notice it but less take any actions. Some wants it but they dont want to be told.
Whenever I hear this in my playlist I always get teary eyes I dont understand the lyrics but the song itself tells you all the emotions you'll feel in it
Thanks to an ASMR channel doing a small snippet of this song, and NOT CREDITING the song (which you should always do), AND not answering my god damn question, its taken me almost a year to find this again.
Me before knowing the lyrics: Man... this song makes my heart hurt. It feels depressing and longing. I wonder what the words mean? Me after knowing the lyrics: Yep. It's depressing and longing.
Im not really into anime (songs) these days anymore, but this one is still perfect, it draws the emotion out of ya, it makes ya wanna cry.. I dunno anything about Gundam Seed though, maybe I should watch it? :p
I've watched both seed and destiny more times than I can count and this song still brings tears to my eyes And honestly I still can't decide which scene hits me more Lord Uzumi leaving Cagalli with the picture of their past or Lord Uzumis will.
I think Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED (including Destiny) had the best music of all Gundam series made to date. Wing leaned mainly towards the 'classical' genre while Gundam SEED went all-out modern, ultra-modern even.

...I don't like SEED. but damn did I enjoy the series for its superb voice acting and great music. That's right. The music and sounds saved the series from being a mediocre mecha anime. At least IMO.
This song is so beautiful and sad at the same time. Gundam Seed has some of the best songs I've heard. They play at the right moments.
Very true
This song always gives me the feeling of leaving a devestated and destroyed home behind to adventure forth and find/build a new one in the hopes of having a brighter future than the one you were born into
Cagalli 😭,memories of high school overflow, never get tired to listen this masterpiece

This song has such soul connected to it.
Sometimes it gives me shivers, and downright drives me to tears. Not much music can do that to me.
for everybody cares about the composer of these kind of music, try searching
"Yuki Kajiura", she's the one who made them one badass composer
this song really does bring every emotion you have to the surface: grief, love, sorrow, hope.. it's all flowing within each chord of this song.
Last 2 days marathon of gundam seed and seed destiny bring me here
U made it to the right place. Welcome

The Dislikes comes from Blue Cosmos
I watched again Gundam SEED series. And this song always a masterpiece
this song defines ALL the emotions that Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, Lacus, crews of the Archangel, Kusanagi and Eternal went through in both seed and sedd destiny.
Cagali: OTOSAMAAAAA!!!! OTOSAMAAAAAA!!!!
this song is amazing, and along with the scenes where was put in the anime, priceless!!
One of the most beautiful song I've heard in anime.
My most favourite scene when this played is when Miriallia tries to stab Dearka. After he made an offensive comment about Tolle getting killed. And then Flay even tries to shoot him.
This song has remained a favorite of mine since this series came out. Thanks for putting it up.

I wouldn't mind re-watching this series 20 times cos of the music and voice acting alone
The new voice acting sucks
As you can see in the lyrics, Kira doesn't intend to kill the enemy mobile suits
I won't leave Orb in the hands of those bastards! I... absolutely loved that scene
Cagali: FATHER!!!! FATHER!!!!!
Respect Lord Uzumi Nara Atha 🥺🥺🥺
Still crying for 2021,heard no matter how many times it remains the same :"
One of the best Gundam SEED songs ever. WAY better than the dubbed stuff.
i love this song!! I cried the first time i heard it T__T It has such sad lyrics...
how come whenever i listen to this song i feel compelled by how great this song is.
We live in a life that dont need any war but there are places that thrive on war destroying the weak. Some notice it but less take any actions. Some wants it but they dont want to be told.

this is the best soundtrack of all Gundam seed.
Oh no!!!! That Cagali scene drove me to tears 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Love the expert use of the tabla and how it was so deftly and masterfully mixed in with all the other instruments.
Well, I'll be darned. Why would people go out of their way to dislike a great song like this? *shakes head*
Listening 2022 my favourite song in gundam seed😍🤗 #FavouriteCoupleCagalliAndAthrun
It's been awhile since I've heard this song last. It really is a great song. Thanks for showing the lyrics, too! ^^
I love this song, it's so beautiful
Just rewatch the entire series, now i have a better understanding about this series, shinn still a pain in the ass though
He is just mad, because his role as MC has been stolen from him by lord Kira. 😅
I want this song for my funeral

Oof... When this song plays, you know a hard decision is about to come in this anime...
1:34 I just picture this scene where one warship turns to face an entire fleet on its own, as its helicopter flees with civilians on-board.
feel touched when im hear this song again....
Me before knowing the lyrics: Man... this song makes my heart hurt. It feels depressing and longing. I wonder what the words mean?
Me after knowing the lyrics: Yep. It's depressing and longing.
Perfect song for the night to zone out to the sky. Beautiful definitely a song to listen to while in Kyoto. Day dreaming mode.
LOVE THIS SONG!!! and the singers voice to is absolutely amazin!!!! but its saddenin as well!!! but the emotion of the song is brilliant!!!
You won't come back - but your sacrifices will not be in vain, those of us who remain will stop this conspiracy

@YamaguchiEtsuko i feel ya. it has a powerful feeling to it. one of my favs from seed. the singer puts alot of feeing behind her singing.

I think each series has it own best song for example for 08TH is 10 years after, for Zeta is Mizu no hoshi and for ZZ is Silent Voice
All gundam got good music compare to other anime in the same season. That's a fact.

i believe there is a balance in the world, u cant have too much niceness in the internet, so hence trolls exist
I finally found the song
I know seed gets a lot of beef but it has my favorite songs from gundam
Kira's theme: TM Revolution
Cagalli's theme: Fiction Junction
Lacus' theme: Rie Tanaka's songs
Athrun's theme: none 🤣
I love Athrun 🥺❤
Four people dislike this. Tsk tsk tsk. They must either be trolls or just don't appreciate good music.
Kira: Athrun...
Athrun: Yeah!
Enemy: Hey, hey, hey, hey (keeps on firing Freedom and Justice)
SO MUCH NOSTALGIA
I hope this will be played again in the new gundam seed movie
that bass drop tho.. 10/10
i just love this song!!
