It's kinda top in Gundam series, prob not top 5 nor 10 but a solid 10-15 for saddest moments. Emotional i'd say top 5-10 if you plus the Akatsuki moment.
There are thjngs the Remaster improves, and some, like how Kira accidentally kills Nicol, it drops the ball on. Basically turning this into the Special Edition version of the ending was most definitely one of the best things it did. Makes for a cleaner ending sequence and a better show of this still-magical song

Lord Uzumi refused to go down without a bang. F*cking BOSS. Then his daughter became a wreck in GSD. Fukuda screwing up Cagalli is THE single worst thing to come out of CE. Glad they tried to rectify that mistake in GSF.

This was the most heartbreaking moment for Cagalli in Gundam Seed, calling out to her father just after the Mass Driver is destroyed was heart wrenching as her scream echoed before the credits, especially in the original English dub. And in the following episode, it shows how much Uzumi's death was hurting her. This series did a really good job affecting peoples emotions.
At 2:05 to 2:21. It appears that two best friend's trying to reach for each other while a runway train is speeding faster. At 2:25 Both friends look at each other with relief. 2:37 parting gift.

I know that most consider this the poor man's Gundam, but I loved this as a child and even more when I got older and was able to understand the themes better. This scene had be crying the first time round and that was one grand way of flipping the bird to Blue Cosmos. Also appreciated that while Athrun was now with Cagali, or at the very least-catching feelings for her going by that Ending, Kira was still hooked on Flay.
poorman? during the series aired it has one of fhe best animation out there animation improve over years. ofcourse what you see today miles better than 10-20 years ago
Almost two decades later that the Gundam Seed was released , it still hits in the right spot. An episode pack of emotions paired with brilliant choice of ost because whenever I hear this music, this scene literally plays in my mind. As an adult rewatching this video, brings back so much nostalgia of my childhood and seeing my nephews enjoying this series now was a delight. I just hope that my son will enjoy this series as much as I do. For me, this series will never gets old and will never tired of rewatching.

Cagalli had little respect for her father at first, but as Seed moves forward, Cagalli’s realizes that she does care and ultimately regrets not having to spend more time with him as she leaves him for the final time, this scene still gets me to cry

@@ordinarydude2237 why not? All Gundams are electric powered, (not included thruster engine) Even UC gundam use nuclear power, that's why there are N-jammer in seed or minovsky particle in UC, so as long as it produce enough power to power up the gundam, than it's good to go.

Seedはカタルシスの演出がすごく上手かった。
物語とはツッコミどころ＜カタルシス。
「粗が目立つからつまらない のではない。 つまらないから粗が目立つのだ」は至言と思う。
突っ込みどころは歴代最多数と思える初代が今もファンの心を捉えて話さないのはそのへんと思う。
「粗があっても、それを上回る良さがあるなら、問題ではない」はその通りだと思う。
逆に粗を出すまいと細かなところまで気を配った割に、盛り上がりどころのなさや描写の欠陥のために駄作扱いされている作品にも心当たりがある。
