- As the show began to approach its close, and after spending over two hours in the studio, it was time for Adam and Jimmy to say their goodbyes too. They both got emotional as they voiced their love and appreciation to both Kevin and Bean for giving them their starts on KROQ.

Such a great episode. It was perfect. I have been listening since the beginning. Thank you Bean for being such a professional. You are a radio god. Kevin and Bean was the smartest show on the radio.
Since Poorman and Richard blade held the morning broadcast in the 80s I remember when they introduced Kevin and Bean in '89... Wow! I've been there even since the day before day 1 of the Kevin and Bean Show.
Me too. I remember waking up that morning and cursing that Richard Blade was gone but I became a fan, even met them and spent time talking with them one on two at Kokomo's in Irvine.
I won a "Lunch with the Poorman " and a long time later happened to be at the strip club the guys from KROQ threw his batchelor party at in El Toro.
K&B loved it when I told them about that party.

I've listened to them since the start. These guys have helped me through alcoholism and depression. Thank all of you...Kevin and Bean are funny but beyond that they help. Adam and Jimmy are spectacular...Santa Karl and Mr. Birchim...every day as I drove to work I had the pleasure to hear the crazyness. Don't ever discount how much you has all helped the idiot that just drives to work every day.

Kevin and Bean were a huge part of my life. I always would try to call in and it just takes me back to my brother and I listening in the morning on our way to school and then work. We'd often be late because there would a F-ing hilarious bit on that we didn't want to turn off. And the Christmas albums.... We'd be at Wherehouse Music right when they opened to get the CDs. Tons of love to you guys and Bean, enjoy your goats and island brother

In the beginning Ralph was great but towards the end he was always angry and absent doing his outside projects.
I remember being in middle school and a classmate told me about this new radio show. I felt so cool listening to them. I felt rebellious since I only knew about Rick Dees because that’s what my parents listened to. Kevin and Bean were a big part of my life. Now what?

They were good but Lohman and Barkley were around first and IMHO the best radio DJs ever. Ralph once said he'd been a huge fan.

really dude?? he was trying to express real emotion and all of the guys were making jokes trying not to let him have real talk. EvERY single time someone got real, there was a "witty" comment. It kind of ruined a potentially beautiful moment. Jimmy would have kept going if they would have allowed it. it's unfortunate.
