  • The new Power Bank I have been using for a week now. My Comsol Power Bank was good for the most part, just couldn't power the Pocket 6K enough even in 50 FPS. The new Jupio Power Vault III is around the same price, smaller and more compact and can power pretty much all my cameras without hiccups.! 🎥🔥💯

    Excellent video Zeek, I love the slow panning shots you have got it down to a fine art now and very cinematic, I was wondering where to have the external power source as I have a small battery like yours, I went with your idea as I don't need a monitor and I didn't want it to be behind the Touch Screen, this is the perfect solution as the battery is very light and easy to get to as I have 2 of them and keep a charged one in my pocket just in case as I use 2 cameras (Canon M50 as well) with the same power source. I loved the editing and low angle shots, thanks for this, I always learn something new watching your videos, more of this great little camera please, love it

      @@ZeekEOSZ Heartfelt thanks - I completely misunderstood your video (sorry, I'm stupid AF), assuming the powerbanks were niche products whiich could output 12v through USB. While they're just good quality powerbanks with USB3 specifications, which can go up to 3.5a or more, for mobiles with fast chargers. The cable you've linked to (thanks a gazillion) has a built in step up converter which outputs 12v from the USB's 5v. The issue though, is having enough amperes - as the voltage goes up, the amps go down... the original powebank you've shown probably didn't output enough juice to keep the power hungry BMPCC going - while the newer one does. I had tried building similar cables myself, using a step-up voltage converter (which can be bought for a couple of dollars on aliexpress) but although it worked pretty well (provided the powerbank was up to it) I never finalised it into something rugged which could be used practically outside. Was weary of the qulaity of the upconverters, afraid they might damage the Blackmagic, particularly when used for hours on end. Again, as you stated, the powerbank's power output makes the difference.

    • @ZeekEOSZ

    Can I also film 12bit?
    (I say this because I know he shoots 10 and 14 bit depth with the magic lantern, but I don't know if can shoot 12, only you can tell me that).
    I would also like to know if there is a time limit?
    Thanks for the content, I just fell in love with this camera watching your videos.

    • @ZeekEOSZ
      @ZeekEOSZ  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a lot of videos about the settings and modes. The max resolution is 2.8K RAW or 4K/5K RAW Video time-lapse with low fps. I made a video about it as well.
      You can film 10/12/14 Bit RAW. 10 Bit allows more record time but the quality is the same as 14 Bit.
      There is no time limit. Each mode has different record times depends on the resolution. Anything below 2.3K RAW is continuous with 10 bit enabled. 1080 mode is normal 1.6x crop. It does have aliasing as a drawback but the other modes clean this up.

      Sometimes when I record 6K on the Pocket with my other Powerbank it shuts off after a minute, especially when using 50fps. This Powerbank has been perfect! You can get an hour's worth or one and a half depending what resolution and if you turn it off after each shoot.

      You can shoot clean HDMI that ks.tk Magic Lantern features. The only issue is output resolution is low, like below 720p, so not worth it in my case.

      You bet! As long as you turn the Eos m off when not in use, it will be fine for an 8 hour shoot 👍

      Very well indeed. Works up to 50 fps BRAW 6K which my other ones can't do. 10,000 mAh isn't that much for 6K BRAW, probably about an hour to two hours or more if you turn it off after each shoot. So I'd say you'd be good with about 3 of these. I'm planning on purchasing another one.
