Really nice tutorial, super clear! Got your files to understand how you built texture and played with lights 👌. It’s superb 🎉
Thanks for your support and glad you're learning something from the project files!!
I love your tutorials and your charisma :) Thank U!
Super fun stuff EJ! I absolutely love the vertex map feature with C4D cloth for creating these inflation transitions. It's so simple and intuitive and IMO looks as good as almost anything coming out of Houdini!
Absolutely! WHOdini!? hehe I can't wait for Maxon to add more capabilties, we still dont have rigid body and its still missing alot of features from the old dynamics systems!
@@eyedesyn Yaaasss!! I can't wait for the rigid body system to be integrated. Maxon should also just buy Insydium so X-particles can become native to C4D. The built-in particles and forces system is still fairly limited.
So glad that I fund this tutorial. LOVE IT!
No but for real, you're a real one for this bro. I've gone through and retaken each step of this tutorial several times just to really hammer in what it is your doing, and the way you break things down makes assimilating this information SO easy.
Really appreciate the kind words!!! Glad you found this helpful and thanks for watching!
in cinema 4d you will make a TYPE bubble/balloon
Super nice tutorial, EJ! That final material you used is fantastic.
wow larry david himself wowwwww!
Love love LOVE this tutorial, thank you !
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for watching! :)
Thanks for making these amazing tutorials E.J. - super fun to play around with.
Thanks for watching!!!
Awesome EJ, going to be playing around with this. I'm a C4D Basecamp veteran and loved that, would love to do the Ascent one day. Keep the tuts coming
Heck yeah thanks so much for taking Basecamp and supporting me (and not being sick of me by the end of Basecamp lol)
insane feature, I am even more impressed that you can push them around in real time...that's amazing.
Right?! I'm continually impressed by the new sim speed!
Thank you for the tutorial!
Another wonderful tutorail. Thank you!!!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Hey EJ! Loved this tutorial, thank you!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching, Peter!
Fire tutorial! Thank youuuuu!
Thanks for this tutorial, I'll try to practice it myself
Can't wait to see what you come up with! Enjoy!!!
Super fun as always EJ! 🤞Still waiting for the full tutorial of tie-ing the knot with dynamic rope. Oh man I forgot what presentation you did making it now. 🥺
I haven't done the tutorial YET but I plan on covering that at NAB in a couple weeks so be sure to tune in! :)
@@eyedesyn Awesome! Sorry for keep bugging you about it. :) Always been watching your tutorials eversince man! Cheers!!
Loved it! Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you watchin!
Great tutorial as usual, thank you!
Thanks for watching!!!
Thank You!
Look at me, I am kerning! Like a real designer!
Now read my book on "how I made millions kerning as a designer" book and you'll learn how to be a millionaire too!
Thank you!!!! Love it!
You are so welcome!
Brilliant stuff mate.
Cheers!!! Thanks for watching!!
great tutorial and easy to follow. I do however wonder how you would trigger the sim, say at a later frame instead of the initial start at f0. TY!
at the recent conference you were going to show how you made that pillows inflating animation but ran out of time to discuss it in as much detail; will you be making that a tutorial here? Super interested to see how you accomplished connecting the pillows and your process there overall! These are always so great!
Haven't gotten to that yet but it's on the list! :)
@@eyedesyn no worries!! Was just curious! Thanks a ton!
SO much better than a coffee! Great job.
HAHAHA I mean coffee is pretty good too 😜
Nice and thicc font :p Awesome remake EJ!!! Bringing this to Unreal I assume...lol
Lol i mean someday ill try that.. heheh
Thank you!!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
dude, you're cool, your lessons motivate me to study, please do more of these videos
And thank you😇🥰
So awesome to hear! Thanks for watching!!!
that is superrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Thank you for the great content
Thanks for watching!!!
Even though the free tote bag offer was clearly false advertising apart from the sneaky disclaimer I had already liked and subbed lol!
Your videos are the best, Thank You
thank you! : )
You bet!
Btw. I wish your Basecamp Cinema 4D course would be available also as the "offline" version, not only online live-lessons. Unfortunately with my 3 kids I'm not able to take the live lessons on fixed hours :( Maybe in the future ;)
you da best! 🤩
You arrrrre! Thanks for watching!
I love you !!!
That’s exactly what I looked for when I was finishing my showreel. But I already posted it)
Repossst! :)
Thank you so much Sir..!!!
Most welcome!
Polygon Island!! wtf!!!!!! needed that for years! tx
thanks bro its amazing for that i subscribe you
Thanks for the sub it means a lot! 🙏🙏🙏
Cool!
Thank you!!!!
I’ve started C4D and loving it. Followed the tutorial and now I can’t render it. Not done it before. Any tutorials on this, what I’m doing is saying it’s going to take 7 hours 😂
Hi. I'm a C4D newbie and I have a question: How can I move the text that already has simulation (position/rotation)?
wonderful, mate. Thank you. Any reason my Balloon tag doesn't have the vertex map option? Surface and Mix Animation do but not the Balloon.
It's because you need to be on the latest version of C4D for that feature!
Looks awesome, also the final look. At 27:20 you jump immediately to a render, skipping the lighting and textures part... I understand the focus is on the simulation and dynamics here, but can you give a hint on the material and lights used? Thanks! (PS -- sadly I'm stuck to an older Mac running R21 with physical renderer)
You can download the project file on Gumroad if you'd like to see how I lit and textured it!
Amazing.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
dope
Awesome tutorial! I wanted to ask you if it is possible that the balloon could explode, I don't know how to do it :(
There is a tearing option on the new sims so that totally should be possible! I think @RocketLasso did some tutorial on the tearing!
Hey EJ I bought the file off gumroad. how can I change the letters from "TYPE" to something custom? I watched the tutorial a few times and it seems it's because you made them an object but the text part is still there in the remesh. I turned it on but Does that mean I have to start from scratch? Great tutorial!
Nice daily tut\!
Glad you like it!
Nice
Thanks!!
Hey EJ! Thank you for making this, I'm so excited to make this. However, I tried to follow this tutorial, but I'm stuck at 8:23, adding the Balloon simulation tag. My version of c4D (25.121) doesn't show Balloon, when I right click on the objects and hover over Simulation Tag. I tried Googling why but it doesn't show up either. Wondering if you might have some insight! :)
So the whole reason for that is you're not using the latest version of C4D - in C4d 2023.2.0 it will show those settings!
@@eyedesyn I updated it and it's there now. Thank you so much for responding so quickly, you're the best!!
Now show me how to make this ins Lightwave
😂 Raydream
Is it free??
How could I explode it later? Thanks!
I havnt the option „balloon“ in my simulation Tags .. how can i get it ?
and how to do the same in r23. Without tag ballon.
Thank you, I purchased a file, however, it said that I have a missing plug-in, yet today is my first time ever using Cinema 4D. could you explain what that means?
What plug in did it say?
I purchased the project file, how do I change the text?
I need to go down 0.1 with voxel size and still I have jagged edges, why are my voxels are big?
The first linear fiels isn't deflating like shown in the tutorial. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
do have the same problem
I have the same problem. Have you already solved it ?
Trying this with C4D 2024 and at around 7:00 you can move/scale/rotate but mine will only scale. Pretty weird TBH.
The balloon tag is no longer in cinema 4D R25 right? I just cant find it.
hey your tutorial skipped over how you made the font color pink. Please help
So I was trying this out, looked away for some time and now my objects are invisible. They show in the objects manager but not in the viewports and I don’t know what to do.
SOMEONE HELP! Please!
Hi EJ! My Cinema 4D R26 doesn't have the Balloon simulation. has this moved? How can I access it?
Same problem, did you find the solution?
❤
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Is this supposed to work on 2023 1.2? My fabric curls up as if air is escaping.
2023.2 fixes a lot of that issue !
Is this okay that my c4d viewport is very slow when I preview it?
If you have an underpowered computer this will be normal
simulations just never work on my cinema 4d, everything just crashes and lags when I try to add any simukation. don‘t know why.
hello, I tried to follow this tutorial but my tag simulation balloon, does nothing... when I hit the play button my object stays like before the tag... do someone know how to solve this problem??
Thank you very much
and then my whole cinema 4D program crashes so bad that I need to close everything...
Does this work in C4D R26? I don't have the simulation tag
I believe the new simulations were added in the version after R26
it really didn't like the vibrate tag on mine.
I am always getting an error message "Collision limit exceeded" when I hit play. Has anyone else encountered that issue?
Make sure your objects aren't intersecting from the get go, also make sure your polygon count isn't SUPER high - you can bring down the mesh density of the Remesh object for that
@@eyedesyn Hello! sorry to bother you again haha but this "Collision Limit Exceeded" is happening to me as well. I set my mesh desnity to 25% in my Remesh Object but still ran into the same problem. Wondering if you might have any insight on this? Thank you!🙏
TYPE
what is the name of the material used in fonts
I show it in the tutorial
man there is no balloon tag in my c4d, wth
Balloon was added with the new simulation system in version R26/2023. If you don't see it it means you're on an older version
i want my tote bag!
Are you using the correct version of c4D?
inflated T is kinda looks like... lol😀
damn no ballon in r23
I searched for ... Balloon.. And I couldn't find it. "CINEMA 4D R26.107" 7:38
I have a link to the older tutorial in the description!
my letters are getting too deformed and wrinled even when I flllowed every step you did.
Might need to up the inflation amount or reduce the amount of rest length so there less slack in the sim
the 3d is very hard
Actually it’s squishy
:(
