Somethings I picked up or I can inform is : for anyone just looking to kill with parry strat rather than going for parry only. You can squeeze out 2 lights before taking the riposte. You can also guarantee 1 light after every parry. jumping the stomp if you are point blank in his knee sometimes causes you to still get hit so be just a bit further away when jumping. for meteor in phase 2 you want to run back as far as possible. This way most if not all clones can simply be spaced out to whiff and you can simply roll once into him to dodge the real attack. with the light aoe thing, you almost have to run immediately, if you can't make it just try to hit radahn a few times then block with a high holy res shield to reduce dmg.
Awesome job! I struggled to consistently parry him because it felt like the right hand swing he didn’t do the overhead one often. He kept going for the fast lower swing and I would miss it. I finally got him though!
It feels like you have to parry most of his attacks way earlier than it seems, and my reaction times are slow I guess which sucks. I can parry consistently his easy attacks like the overhead swing from his right side and the delayed swing from his left side but other than that I miss more than I hit. Really not enjoying this fight after spending the whole day on it.
Same here, i start trying to fight radahn using parries, but when it comes to the 2nd phase, is a flashbang festival, i get bored so i summon people online and in the first tried we defeated him, sometimes I regret no fighting him myself
@@latinovikingTy for the comment, ive been trying to figure out the best weapon I can use for blood procks while parrying 😂 I only have sepuku on the banished knights greatsword, almost beat this boss tonight though.
You basically have to fish his right hand attack over and over again by positioning 2 steps further from him, i'm currently trying to beat him this way and from all the video i've seen this is the most efficient way.
obviously is personal preference what you "like" more but objectively speaking carian retaliation is straight better. Both has 4 startup frames (so first active frame is the 5th) but carian retaliation has 6 active frames vs the 5 from buckler. The recov is also slightly different but that has nothing to do with the parry timing.
U great. I know you equipped Crimson Dagger talisman, but you recover health as you hit too, recovering twice during the critical hit. How are you able?
It's because I am using the Misericorde that I am able to regen twice with the crimson dagger talisman equipped as the Misericorde has two critical hits when used on a riposte, first on the initial stab and another when the dagger is pulled out, I believe this mechanic is unique to the Misericorde.
Fire scales well with Strength, Lightning scales well with Dex, Cold scales well with Int, Bleed scales well with Arc and Holy scales well with Faith, I have a Strength build so I always default to fire, and if the boss is strong against fire I'll swap it out for Heavy or an element the boss is weak too, or I'll keep my dagger fire and use it to reset frost bite. It's all situational but sense Radahn didn't seem strong against fire, I kept it fire.

so cool, have to try that for sure!
A Cross-Slash Attack in a parry video? then i like it

I aspire to get to this level lol
If you practice with buckler parry then switch to carian retaliation after you get the timing down, it’s a little easier to time.

probably the physic that heals on hit, crimson sapping cracked tear

@@killlaboxes8260 thanks, u are a hero
@@killlaboxes8260 its the same animation as the straight sword, I have used both, but thanks for clarifying.
Any particular reason why you used Fire infusion instead of Bleed or Keen or Quality?

I'm guessing normal parry works too right??
Of course, I just like carian retaliation as my ash of war for parry, but you can use normal parry or golden parry.
Maaan this is hard I can only parry the slow left side attack.
Whats the name of sword?
The weapon I use in this fight is called the Misericorde, It's a dagger.
What is the Third talisman?? a rope?
It's the Golden Braid talisman it Boosts holy damage negation by 22%

The Twinbird Kite Shield
How are u gaining life while parrying
