Yeah, it's kind of a peeve that he does this with every series. It's almost as if he's afraid of having fun on the game and thinks he'll lose viewers if he doesn't take it super serious every time.
@@BClrk83 but at the same time he is overloading every trailer, transports complete trees, leaves expensive equipment everywhere and drives trucks with 0% maintenance... very weird mix of no fun/fun...
Making this too much like real life really takes the fun out watching you videos for me. I trust you to do the right thing and make great videos. Not everything has to be done by the book. We can do that on our own farms if needs be! Good choice with the Factory.
I'm just happy to see where the series goes organically so even if you drop a UFO on the map and it shoots out billions of dollars, I'll still watch and enjoy lol. Still can't wait for the next video every day
That is a good idea to add the cement factory to the map then lease it. It looks like if the cement is one of the requirements to build the temple, they should have put the factory on the map in the first place.
Sometimes I think your rules are little restrictive, but this rule for the cement factory is fair. Good to see you doing contracts and the new AI is working great. Don’t know why but I love working Cotton. Great episode!!!
A tip for Cotton if you happen to get the machine cheap on sale...the Farmtech bale trailer can hold 4 of the square bales, and the Merlo can pick them up (although a weight helps). I'm doing a LOT of cotton on Riverbend using the Case, and that's how I'm transporting it (the rope factory eats it really fast).
I'm glad you put the cement factory on your map. IMP it should have been included in the map because of the requirement to finish the temple. I love the fact that Giants have included projects like the temple and playground into the maps. I loved the rollercoaster and yacht projects in FS22. I definitely hope some of the map modders out there are able to include projects into their maps.
I think the leasing is fine, but in my opinion the prices are waaaaay too cheap. You make like 120k per day with the sawmill if you provide enough wood and it costs 800 to lease. I think something along the lines of 10-20k a day would be more appropriate otherwise it is essentially a free production.
If i was the mod maker for production leasing, id have done a flat month charge, and take a % of the profits, or at least a % of production created as profit. It is cheap, and leasing a production building seems counter productive for the company ur leasing it from. There could be a min. monthly time, say 3 months, or specific months u could rent, denoting 'quiet' times for the business. I dont make mods i have no clue how hard that would be to code lol. But then again it is just a game i enjoy watching the progress being made either way Its not as if it spoils the series being able to do it let the man farm 🤣
Hi Dagger, maybe Angus cattle would be a good choice for your field since you are not milking. Also really enjoy all your content. Keep up the great work you do 😊
Anyone else got issues with delayed terraforming? And do your tool sheds work? I can't use R and put it there for some reason, it worked last Patch. Great video as always ❤
@ agreed. I was trying to level a field that I had set as a rice field and it was painfully slow. I’d drag the cursor around it and then go make a lunch while it completed the process.
I am really, really pleased with the work you have done and the decisions you have made so far in the Hutan Pentai series. If I were in the same situation, this is pretty much what I would do. However, I really can't understand your insistence on grapes and vineyard ; and it doesn't make sense to me. Each process requires separate and special equipment, and these are expensive equipment. Forget the grape harvester, even to transport grapes requires a separate special trailer. And unless it is done on a really large scale, it can't be said to make a decent profit (and doing it on a large scale is nothing but a waste of time). I think you should give up on the grape and winery business. Field 33 can become a very large field with the extra usable area around it. There is already an area that you have cleared from trees and turned into a field. I think you should completely clear it, turn it into a large field and make a large grass field. A large grass field close to your home will both meet the silage and hay that the buffalo need and will provide you with ease and speed of processing since it is close. If you don't want to make grass, you can make a good profit by either processing the crop you get from a large field or selling it directly. I hope you see my comment and listen to my advice because, apart from the reasons I already gave, the grapes are also a boring process to watch (to me) .
Daggerwin please keep your playlists up to date. I will end up watching a lot more videos if i can binge them in order, and i imagine that is the same for others. Loving the series
9:40 That's actually really smart of Giants to do. It allows you to do back to back contracts without having to go through the hassle of having to give back and rerent the equipment. I like that design choice.
I actually use that to great profit as well. You can accept 3 cultivation contracts for example, but only rent the equipment from the one that gives the largest working width. I lose like $600 from the reward on that field, but I can blow through the other 2 contracts in like 2-3 passes if the big one gave me an 18m cultivator. Did the same thing with weeding contracts especially, until I bought my own hoe, which works for both weeding and hoeing contracts, has a great width, and a MUCH faster speed than any weeder.
Your videos are like a ray of sunshine in the gray of everyday life, which penetrates the heart and lifts the mood. Thank you for your cheerful creativity!🦎🩸🐦
I think you should do what you like, we would watch it regardless just have fun, thatll make the quality better! I think your rule is a fine one, for realism the renting does seem cheap but as long as the series doesnt become factory simulator who cares really right! ❤
For the new field you bought for your debris crusher, you should put your goats there seen as it’s nice flat land and then keep a mini forest over at the other field
I have no problem with renting the places, it's a great idea to put it on the map. I do like it when you use a realistic style of play though, but adding something to rent doesn't affect that... its a hard thing for you, trying to keep everyone happy and progress so it doesn't become boring, but also trying to maintain so e degree of realism. Tough job you got bud, and you do it very well!
I don't know if you're already aware of that, but you can "set destination" on your workers to make them move vehicles from place to place, it's convenient
You used to be able to use the contract machinery on your own farm but Giants nerfed that. You can still use certain things though. I used a bale wrapper from a contract to wrap my silage bales but it wouldn't let me use the actual baler. I never tried to use the machinery from one contract to another, and watching your vid I see that you can. Lol Good to know.

In FS22, I attempted a cotton harvesting contract only to find that there was no way to unload a partial bale from that cotton harvester to complete the contract. In FS25, I was glad to see the "Roud Baler Extension" mod, which allows me to complete a cotton harvesting contract. However, I've found that root vegetable harvesting (Carrots, Red Beets, Parsnips) contracts seem impossible in single player with the new AI workers. In FS22, it wasn't pretty, but I could line up the harvester at the beginning of a row, punch the 'H' key, and then tab over to my other tractor to pull the tipper until I reached the end of the row. Then, I would have to fire my worker and turn the harvester around manually so I could avoid driving in the crop. In FS25, the AI simply assumed that I would be driving in the crop, but the path it took around the headland made it incredibly difficult to follow. The harvester waits for you to get into position and then takes a sharp turn or starts reversing, and don't even get me started on the amount of crop that it simply mowed down in the corner of the field. And when I decided to use my old trick of firing the worker to manually line the harvester up with a straight section, the AI recalculated the whole route and started working parts of the field it had already cleared. I ended up abandoning the contract and cheating the $16K missing crops fee back into the game. I don't play multiplayer, and it enrages me that this game has so many crop types that simply do not work without mods. I'm glad I'm on PC because there will one day be a new "Follow Me" mod to make these crops possible in single player. I don't know what Giants is thinking sometimes.

Tbh its probably more realistic to lease as a farmer than to buy new, realistic is buying old old used machines or a loan or people that owe you a favor haha
I don’t have a problem leasing the productions. It’s like you took your wood to a sawmill and they charged you $830 a day/month to process it for you. Then it’s up to you what you do with it Also be careful doing 2 of the same contract at same time, I’ve had second one complete with delivery of first one then I can’t finish and don’t have enough to complete fist one

You need to be careful when doing multiple contracts of the same type delivering to the same place. I'm guessing it's a bug. No chance you're doing the Temple by Christmas day. You need something like 400k+ of each Beams and Planks, you'd be doing forestry for every episode between now and Christmas and would still struggle to make it.
You don´t have to separate the bales. I did 4 cotton contracts on small fields using the same borrowed harvester, got 2,5 bales that I sold and it just assigned the correct amount to each contract and a bit at the end to me
The Mozzerella thing might be a bug.. Where the info box says not enough space, it means that there isnt enough storage space left to make the next production cycle and store it, and because you are at 999l/1000l, It wont spawn it in :(
I don't like being a pessimist, but finishing the temple by christmas isn't realistic.
