  • Have you ever wondered who the two witnesses are in the Book of Revelation? In Revelation 11:3 God states: “I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecy 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Who are these two witnesses? And what is the real symbol of Israel that comes out of Zechariah 4? How is the Feast of Trumpets connected to all of this? There has been much speculation throughout the centuries on all of this. Let’s review the scriptures with Jim Staley, as he leaves no stone unturned! You will not only learn a bit more about who the two witnesses are but you will be challenged with a powerful prophetic statement at the very end!

I can see how Elijah would be one of the witnesses but not Moses. Elijah never died. He was taken up in a chariot of fire. He still has a mortal body. Moses died as recorded in the Bible. That means that if he comes back as one of the two witnesses, he will have a glorified and eternal body. But, the book of Revelation tells us that the anti-Christ kills the two witnesses. How can Moses be killed if he already has a glorified and eternal body?
Also, the connection in the Bible of the two Witnesses as being the two trumpets is non-existent. Nor does the Bible state anywhere that the Feast of Trumpets is heralded by TWO trumpets. Jim reads from Leviticus 23:23-25 and then from Rev. 11:3-4 as if there is a connection between these two verses. Go back and read them again. There is absolutely NO connection. Neither passage mentions anything that is mentioned in the other passage.
I took the time to look for common words in these two passages (using NLT). Here is the list of the words, the five words, that are used in both Lev 23:23-25 and Rev 11:3-4: and, the, to, in, of.
How on earth, Jim, do you connect these two verses?

The Spirit of God is an actual spirit not just grace, and Moses and Elijah are the two witnesses the two olive trees and are NOT symbolic. Yes, Jesus did say that John the Baptist was Elijah, but He also said that Elijah would indeed come again.

Just fo add to what's been said. These 2 witnesses are lampstands or more specifically 🕎. Whenever menorah is mentioned it refers to a group of people. The Menorah is the national symbol of Israel. The seven ekklesia mentioned in revelations 2 all had a menorah representing each city group of believers. There are only 2xwitnesses in the bible. Jews in is43v10 and the christian ekklesia in acts 1v8. There are only 2 groups of people represented as olive trees...the jews and the Christians. This is also mentioned in Zachariah 4

      1 Then the Lord holding Adam by the hand, delivered him to Michael the archangel; & he led them into Paradise, filled with mercy & glory;
2 & two very ancient men met them, & were asked by the saints, Who are ye, who have not yet been with us in hell, & have had your bodies placed in Paradise?
3 One of them answering, said, I am Enoch, who was translated by the "Word of God": & this man who is with me, is Elijah the Tishbite, who was translated in a fiery chariot.
4 Here we have hitherto been, & have not tasted death, but are now about to return at the coming of Antichrist, being armed with divine signs & miracles, to engage with him in battle, & to be slain by him at Jerusalem, & to be taken up alive again into the clouds, after three days & a half.
      Revelation 11:3-4

11 & after three days & an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, & they stood upon their feet; & great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 & they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. & they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; & their enemies beheld them.

The Lost Books of the Bible
      The Gospel of Nicodemus 20:5-14
5 & while the holy Enoch & Elias were relating this, behold there came another man in a miserable figure carrying the sign of the cross upon his shoulders.
6 & when all the saints saw him, they said to him, Who art thou? For thy countenance is like a thief's; & why dost thou carry a cross upon thy shoulders?
7 To which he answering, said, Ye say right, for I was a thief who committed all sorts of wickedness upon earth.
8 & the Jews crucified me with Jesus; & I observed the surprising things which happened in the creation at the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus.
9 & I believed Him to be the Creator of all things, & the Almighty King; & I prayed to Him, saying, Lord, remember me, when Thou comest into Thy Kingdom.
10 He presently regarded my supplication, & said to me, Verily I say unto thee, this day thou shalt be with Me in Paradise.
11 & He gave me this sign of the cross saying, Carry this, & go to Paradise; & if the Angel who is the guard of Paradise will not admit thee, shew him the sign of the cross, & say unto him: Jesus Christ who is now crucified, hath sent me hither to thee.
12 When I did this, & told the Angel who is the guard of Paradise all these things, & He heard them, He presently opened the gates, introduced me, & placed me on the right-hand in Paradise,
13 Saying, Stay here a little time, till Adam, the father of all mankind, shall enter in, with all his sons, who are the Holy & Righteous Servants of Jesus Christ, who was crucified.

You have a little problem claiming we are the two witnesses:... First of all... There are just 2 witnesses and in the second place... These witnesses are in the 7 year Tribulation... The church is raptured before this period. So we are not in the Trib period. These witnesses are 2 men standing in the streets of Jerusalem witnessing and will be killed and lie in the street for 3 days and then resurrected and taken to heaven.

I always wondered if the two witnesses were the only two people to never physically die - Enoch and Elijah. The Word says, "It is called unto every man (human) once to die, and then the judgment." They didn't. So, that's just IMHO.

Great message. Without a doubt we are witnesses, we are witness of messiah. I just wished you went over all the verses regarding the two witnesses in chapter 11. Explain their power to stop the rain and turn water into blood etc. Their death? A group vs individuals….etc Maybe for another video. Thanks Jim Yahweh bless you !

The narrative is that their bodies rely on the earth as the antichrist is making war with the saints Revelation 13, verse seven
We are being killed for not taking the mark, and for not supporting the beast system, and simply for being a Christian therefore we will lie and the streets of Sodom in Egypt, which is a spiritual meeting because the whole earth is given to the devil
And on the last day, John chapter 6, verse 39, 40, 44, 54. We will be resurrected/rapture.
This means there’s no pre-tribulation rapture. It’s post TRIB.
The fire is referring to God‘s word that comes out of our mouth. That’s in Jeremiah chapter 1 I believe.
Everything has been signified by the angel Revelation one :1
Signified means metaphorical language follows. It’s like a glossary chapter 1 were first 20 also shows you that the stars and Christ right hand are the messengers and they are full the Holy Spirit so they are like stars sent to the earth on fire.
Don’t be lukewarm you are the messenger in the last day
The little book in the Angels right hand was the Bible, and it has the fire of God we preach to the Whole Earth

I'm enlightened by that message far more than just i know about Moses & Elijah, now i know that Moses represent the northern tribe of Israel while Elijah from the southern kingdom and in connection that Jesus said; ''you are the lights and salt of the earth". Thanks be to God.

It truly amazes me that so many people don't realize that sometimes a man is just a man, A witness is a witness.
By trying to come up with an amazing answer that means something other than what the scriptures say, you can end up twisting scripture beyond recognition.
Be careful not to over complicate God's word.
Yes, there is much symbolism in the scriptures, and there are many similitudes and archetypes, but there are also actual witnesses who are people who are doing what they are told through prophecy.

There's an even deeper understanding and beautiful picture to understand about being the olive trees, found in Job 29:6. When I washed my steps in butter, then the rock poured me out rivers of oil.🎉
