- Pi is a mathematical constant that we learn at the school level. Anything related to circles and spheres will have a pi in it. Everybody knows its value byheart.
The value of the pi we all learn in school is 3.14.
But to be precise, the value of pi Is not 3.14.
Then some people will remember that the value of the pie is 22/7. But 22/7 is not the value of a pi.
The exact value of the pi has not been found out yet.
Interestingly, no one can ever figure out the exact value of a pi.
So what's so significant about a pie's value that no one can figure it out? What was the role of Indians and our little Kerala in discovering the value of pi?
Today's video is going to look at the features that no one is likely to know much about the pi we are all familiar with.
നമ്മൾ ഒരു സ്കൂൾ തലം തൊട്ടു പഠിക്കുന്ന ഒരു mathematical constant ആണ് പൈ. വൃത്തങ്ങളും ഗോളങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട എന്ത് കാര്യം വന്നാലും അതിനകത്തു ഒരു പൈ ഉണ്ടാകും. പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ കാണാപ്പാഠമായി അറിയാത്തതായി മിക്കവാറും ആരും തന്നെ ഉണ്ടാവില്ല.
നമ്മൾ എല്ലാം സ്കൂളി വെച്ച് പഠിക്കുന്ന പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ ആണ് 3.14.
എന്നാൽ കൃത്യമായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ 3.14. അല്ല.
അപ്പൊ ചിലർ എങ്കിലും ഓർക്കും പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ 22/7 ആണെന്ന്. എന്നാൽ 22/7 ഉം പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ അല്ല.
പൈയുടെ കൃത്യമായ വാല്യൂ ഇന്നേ വരെ ആരും കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചട്ടില്ല.
രസകരമായ കാര്യം, എന്താണെന്നു വെച്ചാൽ, പൈയുടെ കൃത്യമായ വാല്യൂ ഒരിക്കലും ആർക്കും കണ്ടു പിടിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല.
അങ്ങനെ ആർക്കും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാൻ പറ്റാതിരിക്കാൻ മാത്രം എന്താണ് പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂവിനു ഇത്ര പ്രിത്യേകത? പൈയുടെ വാല്യൂ കണ്ടു പിടിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുടെയും, നമ്മുടെ കൊച്ചു കേരളത്തിന്റെയും റോൾ എന്തായിരുന്നു?
നമുക്ക് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും സുപരിചിതമായ പൈയുടെ അതികം ആരും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത ഇല്ലാതെ സവിശേഷതകൾ ആണ് ഇന്നത്തെ വീഡിയോയിലൂടെ കാണാൻ പോകുന്നത്.

I think most of the people don't know that one of our Malayali find out the real value of pi by 2 methods and it is appreciated by UN also.. at the time of Abdul Kalam he had send 2 special teams for investigating this. He leaves in Cherthala a place called valavanadu... I know his exact home and he had shown me all the records of his work also... If any one want to know then I can guide u... He is a rare gem and he is still waiting for to get a Bharathratna. There is lot of story I can't expose here

The current system is only about spoon feeding where teachers don't know and kids not interested in asking why and how. Because there is a big load to study or teach without knowing what purpose.
