Ohhh I love this style on you! I’ve been wanting to do a loc knot bob with my hair but it’s still not that long. I’m going to have to use that idea you just had with adding a small piece for length. I did two strand twists with Marley hair and made it a bob doing knots but it was such a tediously long process and made my hair feel heavy. I’ll revisit that eventually lol
I be wanting to try the two strands twists, but I honestly don’t even know if I have an even number of locs. 🤣 That prob doesn’t even matter, but that hairstyle is adorable on you!
You dont need an even number of locs for this style lol. If you have an odd number of locs, you'd just use the locs for one of the twists.

Lol my hair is styled the same way right now 😊 Jamaican Mango lime line has a shampoo and it is SO AMAZING ‼️ Its a Tingle shampoo it definitely makes my locs and scalp feel clean! Check it out I don’t think you’ll be disappointed 🙌🏽
Maybe it’s just me but that shampoo works horribly on my hair it makes it feel very dried out 😮💨 but it smells very good 💯 a nice shampoo I’d recommend is Aussie

Thank you! I would give it a little more time just to make your loc extensions are secure. Its common to experience slipping with loc extensions and the bleach/hair dye can definitely increase the chances of slipping.

I don’t oil my hair I just use rose water and I wash and retwist in the same setting my hair corporate more when wet
Your hair looks so good! Do you still have the extensions on some of them?
Yes I still have about 1-2 inches of the extensions. Many of my natural locs were still intertwined with the locs extensions and I didn't want to cut my real locs nor did I feel like combing them out lol.

Did you use the same routine when you had your extensions in? I’ve had my extensions in for almost 2 months and have had them washed and retwisted but I want to be able to do on my own. I looked but did you do a full wash video when you had your extensions??
I didn't record a full maintenance video when I had my extensions, but its the same process. The only difference is I would have to be a little gentle around the attachment point where my natural locs and extensions met because I experienced some slipping here and there.

The taliah waajid stimulating shampoo is a pre shampoo it says it on the bottle it's not meant to be used alone follow it up with another shampoo preferably a moisturizing one I was using it like that my scalp was so dry and flaky
How often do you wash and moisturize your locs? ❤
In between retwists I wash my hair in the shower bc I use less products mainly like a cowash or cleansing herb something gentle and moisturizing but for my retwist it’s in the sink I feel like I cleanse deeper and I don’t really like conditioner on my body 😂

Hey ! When you wash your hair do you unravel (back twist) the last retwist in your hair to get out any gel ? Because I’ve seen some ppl do it , but wouldn’t this unravel the locking process ?
No, I do not unravel/back twist my locs when washing. Honestly my roots naturally unravel and fluff by the time I wash so I dont really find the need to do that. I personally wouldn't recommend back twisting, especially before your locs are mature because I feel like it would slow down the locking process. But for mature locs, I dont think it really matters.

Can you do my hair?!
I may have missed the reason behind this, but I noticed that you twist your individual loc in one direction, then when you combined, you twisted in the opposite direction. Why is this?
Combining the locs the opposite direction is what creates the 2 strand look. If you retwist and combine the same direction it doesn't look the same and it will unravel. Hope that helps! ♥️

I didn't notice any build up on my locs but I did notice a little bit on my bf's locs with this product. Its kinda hit or miss

They should not go longer than six weeks. That's a month-and-a-half which is good enough.. because of the hair is heavy and and a strain on your hair it would thin your hair all alone you go
