I'm not a fan of deplatforming, but I do think that TH-cam should make an example out of Adin to deture people from abusing the systems going forward. As well as this Thumb Media shell company. Adin made it very clear that his intentions were malicious and was stupid enough to celebrate on stream. I'm sorry, but if TH-cam doesn't do anything then they are setting a precedent that there aren't any repercussions for these kinds of actions.
TH-cam haven't bothered to do anything about creators abusing copyright claims for years now. It's nothing new. In fact that's why people still do it. It's not like they're unaware because this has been a main criticism of TH-cam for several years now.
They're not gonna change a whole system because of 1 case. It's literally going to be one of those cases where a whole "hacking group" go around mass false claiming videos in the tens or hundreds of thousands across every popular creator, and for that problem to hit international headlines with a crap tonne of public backlash for them to consider changing it.

TH-cam really needs to work on making sure that individuals who are found guilty of abusing their copyright ID system are either removed from being able to make claims through it, or at least make it considerably more difficult for them to do so.

The person at Thumb Media FORGETS when people file a counter claim for either the "copyright holder" or Thumb Media they not only have 30 days to say "we fucked up" or "lol get a copyright strike" TH-cam DOES hold the money in a seperate area for when the copyright claim is either removed or becomes a strike.
