Brief Description:
Vulcan is in deep space, heading on a collision course with the Shi’ar Empire. He is on a mission of vengeance against Emperor D’Ken, and nothing will stand in his way, including a star cruiser that he rips apart. He questions a survivor who informs him that the only way to reach Chandilar is through the stargates, and he will need a Shi’ar craft to do that. He also informs Vulcan that D’Ken has been replaced by Empress Lilandra. Vulcan reaches out with his senses and spots three warships. He then attacks them, leaving just one intact. He takes command of the ship, whose captain surrenders willingly against such awesome power. He then gleans information about the Shi’ar from the captain as they head through each stargate. One by one, he destroys the stargates so that Charles Xavier and the X-Men cannot follow. As they reach the inner realms of the Shi’ar Empire, they are confronted by Gladiator and three other members of the Imperial Guard, who order the captain to surrender or face their wrath.

Gabriel Summers is a ruthless, unpredictable mutant due to his ability of energy manipulation. As an Omega Level Mutant, Vulcan isn't someone to pick a fight with, especially someone with brotherly issues.
