She’s not hoarse in 1994 that’s her natural voice. She has a very raspy voice but the label always dubbed her voice in the studio to fill It out. So in her concert she always sounded “hoarse” but that’s her real voice.

This version was fixed to make it be with a better quality, but some frequencies were deleted. If you search “Anytime You Need A Friend Deleted Version” you will see she did a flat G5. This “deleted version” is the original one without the fixing.

Music Box is my favorite era overall. Her best ballads came from that album. Anyone who buys that album should buy the international version of Music Box though, as the song Everything Fades Away completes it.

Whitney comes close, but she never had just half difficult songs. There hundred of singers, especially asian singers like Charice, who sound the same. Mariah is the Queen, thats the way it is.

Well, it depends on which song you're talking about. I Will Always Love You sung the way Whitney did it certainly isn't easy. Others have tried but failed. Again, certain songs by Mariah like Vanishing aren't easy to sing, but others are. It depends on the song.

thats your opinion, but mariah was chosen over whitney at #1 by world votin and whitney was #3, when they did a research about the best voice. whitney was a great vocalist, but mariah has just more soul and more skilss, whitney will always be remembered as one of the best! mariah is for me and for also for the most people way better vocalist, not just because of her high notes!!! deal with it. mariah will always be the #1
Well, it depends on which song you're talking about. I Will Always Love You sung the way Whitney did it certainly isn't easy. Others have tried but failed. Again, certain songs by Mariah like Vanishing aren't easy to sing, but others are. It depends on the song.
I will Always love you is not a hard song, there are countless covers of it of singers fully belting it out lmao.

Whitney was the better live performer. I would say Whitney was the best, but Mariah comes in close. Mariah has had better music overall, particularly in the 90s.
