Its a delight to notice all the vocal changes and how she play with her voice in every song. She born to sing plus her voice with her beauty and personality, just perfect!!
The same for me
Honestly, only Mariah can do justice to this particular song because of its extraordinary level of vocal difficulty. That is in itself an exceptional achievement. We love you, Mariah ♥️
Mariah Carey is the best, this song particularly gets me because she looks and sounds so sad when she is singing it like she really means it... I wonder what she endured to fuel her to write such a profoundly moving song like this one.
Derek Jeter 😭 it's in her book
it was so beautiful and captivating
Recreating studio vocals is tough. Mariah proves that she can deliver live vocals even better than studio perfection! That breath control and vocal undulation... Outtttt of this world!
No tuning machine, just real voice talent😍😍
The textures, color, agility and range of her voice is straight up eargasmic. While the longing, sadness and sultriness of her melodies tug your emotions in all directions.
She is my vocal and vocabulary hero. She has always been my favorite singer.
holy shit that was amazing bravo bravo !!!! Mariah you killed it BABY UNREAL YOU ARE IT SO BEAUTIFUL thank you !!!!
We will never have another Mariah Carey. She’s truly something special.
Amazing performance! Especially since people considered her voice to be declining during this era. This song is incredibly difficult to sing. The transitions between registers are crazy. I feel like the true test of a good singer is being able to flawlessly cover Mariah's songs
On my top 3 favorite songs from her. PERIOD!💖 geesh goosebumps every second.
She never sang it in original version. But this one is truly one of the best
You mean original key? Because this is the original version
@@rustborg yes sorry original key😂
This song is very hard to sing. Not even singers can sing this, in same key.
@@CKC2018 philipine female singer cover this too in the same key..
@@raymondsihombing955 They don't have Mariah's transitions or breathy falsetto, though.
I think I've listened to 10 versions of this song because I have to stop and listen every time it's played. It touches me deep each time.😌
Everything about this performance - the look, the vocals, the emotional interpretation - is perfection.
Perfection! One of my favorite songs
This one was for Derek Jeter after their vacation in Puerto Rico ! She finally felt alive !!! You go Mariah ! You do you Girl !!! ✨✨
That was insanely good!!!!!! I can’t even figure out how to describe how amazing that was. I am seeing this now for the first time in 2022. I am speechless. Wow! Just wow!!!!!! 😍🙏🏽
I just keep coming back to this one. GOAT ballad by one of the greatest vocalist of all time
one of the true premier vocalists..beauty of tone n vocal skills.
This is the first time I listened to this, and you clearly hear, feel, the emotion in her voice.
Passion laced with stripes and streaks of pain, sorrow, contradiction, confusion, grief..
But also joy, and clarity of thought.
This one moved me to tears.
Anyone feel that too?
I am thinking of you
In my sleepless solitude tonight
If it's wrong to love you
Then my heart just won't let me be right
'Cause I've drowned in you
And I won't pull through
Without you by my side
I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight
Baby can you feel me
Imagining I'm looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly
Vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you're so far
Like a distant star
I'm wishing on tonight
I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight
I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight
(I'd) give my all for your love
Tonight
Omg I love the quality of the audio 🤩 the other ones continued to make her sound ‘raspy’ (if you know what I mean) when she really actually wasn’t raspy.
Vocal 100% on point. Can't fault her on anything.
Sidenote- she was like 'damn I have paid for all these backing singers so they will be on camera even though I don't need them'
She makes it look so effortless. 😍
This must be my favorite live rendition of this beautiful song😍Constantly pressing replay!
Just finished reading her book, and this song takes another meaning now. Awesome performance! Mariah, my goddess forever 🥰😇
The sound on SNL is always so unforgiving. Yet Mariah shines brighter than anybody.
Best live version of My All. Mariah is a GOAT. Love you😘
This song is so hard to sing. It spans a huge range, includes a variety of very technical singing skills and ends in some insane belts. It also requires intense breath work as well as precise phrasing. There is a reason why nobody ever tries to cover Mariah songs.
One of the most iconic songs of her and the best performance of it.
Essa mulher é surreal! Que voz 👑
1:46 Esse vibrato é impressionante...
Love this live performance, shes un touchable in her prime. I wish ive could of seen her live ..
Just perfection! Pure and simple. We all thank you Mariah for everithing you make all of us feel when we listen your songs! 🌹
Damnnnnnnnnnnn… best performance 🎤 😍
Her voice is so pure, and I love how this song is just so sultry!
Watching this 27 years later and I'm so proud of Mariah. She gave the absolute best performances of My All (SNL) and Butterfly (Letterman) in her hometown in that period - it's really very touching. She is an unbelievably talented woman.
She uses her voice like an instrument, not just a conduit for the words. Here it doesnt even seem lile shes performing but literally just singing the way she feels like it and its beautiful.
I've been practicing this song for years, and theres always something new to learn. Or hope to learn, she is an out of this world singer, every year I look out for her new music.
Absolutely mesmerizing. Thank you Mariah
0:15 I love the slight change in her vocals when she starts singing, idk it’s so good
chest voice -> mixed voice, she has been able to capture a perfect transition, which is why it sounds so good!!!
We take her for granted ..one of the best ever ❤
Back when u really had to have talent to be famous- Mariah is the GOAT!!!!!
