I refuse to pay double or tripple the price for something that I can get cheaper . I appreciate your knowledge and battlefield tested hard work. Carry on soldier !
Thanks for the info! We went to Ollie's, and there it was $4.99 a bottle! I bought 4 and used about 1 and a quarter bottles. I applied it today, so we'll see what happens. Your lawn looks great, BTW!
The reason why your grass burns in those areas is because the sun is reflecting off your white fence. I would imagine that the areas that burn the most are the areas that face south. The area that burns in the summer will also green up quicker in the spring and that simply because it's getting more sun. Lawn looks damn good though.
Keep doing what you're doing, I've been getting into lawncare myself for a few years now. Where were you when I first started lol. Appreciate your content.
Aight, just applied this today thanks to your suggestion and watered it in and marked my calendar for 60 days from now to reapply. Young grass seeded last fall so trying to pay attention and keep it alive through summer. Also just set up my budget irrigation after packing it away through winter and spring and used the watering in process to set it up.
I just put this down this morning as we are heading into a long stretch of hot weather with little rain in the DMV area. I usually have a few very dry spots that always annoy me every summer. I am hoping that the application of this product helps!
i got a 2 pack of this off Amazon. plan on spraying it on my backyard and front section, both are tall fescue grass, bc those are the areas that get 8+ hrs of sun during summer.
Thanks for the tip, I just went to my local Ollie's (NC) and it was $4.99 a bottle. They had 50 of them in stock, I purchased 10! They also had some deals on Round up. BTW, Now subscribed to your channel !
Thanks for the info. Been to 3 Ollie’s only found 1 bottle. My lawn is 15,000 sf. They say the truck comes in on Mondays I’ll keep looking. Hydretain just cost too much $ .
Great info will be heading to Ollie’s tomorrow 👍also I was at Walmart today they have spectracide weed stop for $7.99 and $8.99 for mixture vs lowes $10.99 and $11.99 definitely going to try that bio advance root moisturizer have a few dry spots. Your lawn is looking awesome 👍
@Lawn Amateur , The lawns looking really good, nice job. If you want to increase the efficiency of these types of products use a backpack sprayer and air induction nozzles. Air induction nozzles are excellent nozzles for soil applications, they produce a bigger water droplet increasing the penetration of these types products. A couple other products you could add to your arsenal are Calcium and Monosilicic Acid. Calcium is crucial for protection against summer stress as it strengthens cell wall integrity, and is essential for the development of healthy roots. Monosilicic Acid improves root strength, root mass and increases the plant's ability to absorb water, ultimately boosting overall stress tolerance.
@@LawnAmateur Google my friend it shouldn't be hard to find both online. They are well know nutrients/products. I'm in Canada so my supplier wouldn't ship to you. I buy most my fertilizers and soil amendments from OMEX. You can buy both in soluble powders or liquid forms. If you have any questions about the application rates just hit me up in the comments.
Remember I asked you if I could use weed b gon in the big green bottle and you said yes I timed it before it was gonna rain & dandelions are gone but I’m going to use it again + this lawn moisturizer! ( try to get my lawn looking like yours 👍🏾)
I believe you are having issues with the lawn drying out along those specific fence lines because the lawn is getting heat from the sun, as well as getting some heat/light reflecting off of the fence, which is why it does not happen in the areas where the sun doesn't reflect off of the fence as much. I could be wrong but that's my theory. Cheers!
Great video! I didn’t know about Ollie’s either and just found one near my house. I’m definitely hitting it up tomorrow. They also have Puma and Eddie Bauer on sale for $3.99!!
Yes Ollie’s is the business!! I love that store and yes do remember the bioadvanced lawn root moisturizer from last season look at those blades 🤩 and that tree being gone sure does bring in a lot of sun im looking forward to see how this works out for u this season
The shade was nice from the tree 🌳 but the damage wasn't. Coming home and never knowing what to expect to see is kind of nerve racking. Damaging the fence is cool but it was always the what if it was the house 🏠 and that wouldn't be good. So I'm glad it's gone. Now I have to try and keep the lawn green from the extra sun light.
Great video, your yards looks great. I do have a question how often do you use the product, and when the temperatures start to rise above 90° will you still continue to use the product or just continue to water more often? Thanks
@ericstinnett9182 Thank you. I use the product when the lawn looks like it needs a boost. It's supposed to last for 3 months but I like to check the lawn in about 20-25 days to see if another application is needed. You definitely have to still water the lawn. Never apply this product in extreme heat above 85 degrees you can possibly burn your lawn so apply early morning or later in the evening.

Yes, you can apply this product in July. Do it early morning before the sun get going fully or in the later afternoon when the sun start to go down to avoid burning the lawn

Sta green works great but liquid I don't see no results I use the pro max the 13/13/13 the 2in1 the 3in1 and the starter fertilizer I use the starter in late January or early February then I go with the 2in1 then the 3in1 then the pro max and I use the 13/13/13 in the fall and winter what you think bout that

@@LawnAmateur Appreciate it.
