@@martinquails3395 I am hoping to home them to their coops outside . I train bird dogs and quail are great to train them to hold their point. I also have some greenhouses I am looking to convert to huge aviaries. And before you hate me … no I don’t shoot the quail I release them and toss a scented retriever dummy for the dog to fetch. I’ve also got 50 yearling birds I will try to home but if they don’t they can join the locals with my blessing. I don’t even own a gun, I just love the dogs, and after they’re started on pointing they can be trained to indicate other things for conservation work, detection work, or service to disabled people. It’s an experiment, I plan to try to tame the adult birds further if I can. I’ve been watching your videos and getting a lot of ideas on taming. If they can be homed reliably I may be able to free range them a bit. Just like having them around.

I have 63 eggs in the incubator as we speak. Also have some wild ones I feed. I absolutely LOVE THESE birds.
