The singers name is Jennifer Haben. I am not into harsh vocals at all, but here they just add and keep the song interesting. I absolutely love their acoustic versions because they don't let their songs mutate into ballads. Sady many great artists from Europe never make it across the pond. BTB deserve way more recognition. When it comes to Chris' vocals/growls complementing Jennifer's vocals, more often than not, it's a matter of Chris growling. But, there are times where Chris reigns it in and sings...and it works really well. And, yes, I am part of a small, but vocal group that wishes that they would tour here in the US...but, it's a bit of an expensive proposition. They performed in Japan in 2017...and in Australia/New Zealand in 2023...so, it's not out of the realm of possibility. It just needs to be the right situation.
Regarding Chris's singing, my favorite "thing" they have done might just be the Origins version of Shine and Shade, it took me completely by surprise the first time I heard it!
