    Omg...not just ur recipe looks tempting but also the knowledge u hav shared about the goodness of raw banana is interesting n commendable. This is why it is replaced by potatoes during fast in Jainism. 😊

    Tip: when dealing with raw banana, have a bowl full of water with salt and turmeric and dip your fingers in it, so your hand won’t get blackish colored.

    Very nice . I love thoran from the time I went to Kerala many years ago. I ate it in a hotel when we visited Periyar, since then I often made it with different Veggies

    *We use only the skin for the sabzi* - salt , pepper and haldi. done in sesame oil/ghee/peanut/mustard/coconut . And throw away the banana.

    Your Banana recipe is good, in A.p using boiled Banana and soaked moong daal add to make recipe and add coconut masala , thank you 😄

    Great recipe... Also, I liked the idea of wearing rubber cap(it looked like rubber cap to me.. not sure) on the index so that the finger is under less threat of slitting while cutting the vegetable. 😊

      This is how it is done. Otherwise, the raw banana becomes blackish.
