- We're back in the dark, Steampunk, zombie-infested world of They Are Billions! This game may be a few years old now, but it's still a blast! For this run, I'm going to push myself with a max difficulty Dark Moorland map. That means maximum infected, limited building space, loads of useful chokepoints, and only 73 days before the final wave hits. Can we survive?

I think they are billions is a perfect example of a mix of city building and survivel, pravus is also really good at it!
I quite enjoyed Ainyaly's editing. Especially the playful teasing dropped in here and there. You both are doing great.
You might have some problems. I don't know if Ainyaly is going to be happy if you keep flirting with disaster. You're only supposed to flirt with her. 😉

I know they are not optimal, but seeing Lucifers in action would be cool. See them clear the map of 'basic' infected is always awesome.

12:25 Giants are deaf, actually. They do not react to noise whatsoever. So long as you aren't close enough to where they just casually wander into your defenses, you're perfectly fine.

AutoSave is very helpful if your game crashes
Bit random, but if you like the kingdom series, you should try thronefall. Its very similar to kingdom only on a larger scale with more rts/tower defense mechanics.

On all survival maps(except the first map) West and East have no specials(except from noise or spawned by VOD) so they are easier to clear.
North and East always have specials.
Specials are Chubby, Venom, and Harpy.
Hey pravus can you do desolated wasteland at max difficulty please? I HAD so MUCH trouble in that map compared to the other maps. It would be good if you understand my pain and suffering had to go through.

I think as you expand further, you should demolish the ballista tower that were not in use anymore to save money and get some resource back
7:20 i feel like the autosaves might simply be for incase the game crashes or stuff like that, that are out of the players controll, and not their fault either.

Also, if I might make a suggestion for a future playthrough, I'd love to see some Stronghold game play on your channel. My particular favorite is Stronghold 2, but any love for the series will be much appreciated.
Noise gets stacked on a title if you have multi-units on that tile.
Adjacent tiles get half of that noise.
Separating units by over 2 tiles each lower noise by a very long shot is usually a good thing early game.
4 units in a tower is basically 4x noise in a tile.
If the tile does not get noise then noise will halve every second of no activity.
So in just a few seconds, it resets this can be achieved by manually moving back units a few tiles to prevent overpull.
By default, zombies can be noise-aggroed up to 4 times their visual range.
20 tiles for most runners.
48 tile for the mutant and 36 tile for the harpy.
Villages of doom if noise aggroed send out an attack wave towards the noise source if still have zeds left.
Killing them often causes noise and that can be a never-ending noise chain until all zeds are dead...or you are dead..
The desert map increases this noise value while the frozen map decreases noise.
That said noise has some RNG if zed aggroes or not.
Noise is not an as important mid-late game in fact luring the mutant into defenses is a good thing.
You can even attack your own cheap wall just to cause noise.

doesn't wor, game is really annoying about save scumming even closing with task manager saves, so when you die the save is deleted/unavailable
