How well Sharmila Tagore praises Lata didi, her angelic voice as well as her artistic sensitivity to provide musically whatever the actors needed! Lataji’s voice certainly had the magic to unite all of India. And she was the first Indian singer to sing in Royal Albert hall. What an amazing lady who supported cricket, had an understanding of western classical music as well. Even though she has left this earth, her music will be in our hearts forever as we listen or sing her timelessly beautiful songs. Thank you Lata Didi, eternal nightingale of India.

I was born in 2003, but her story, her every song melts me. Like sharmila tagore is my favorite actress and lata mangeshkar ji sang most of the songs for her film, every time I watch those films and listen to her songs, I can't help but get tears in my eyes. Her song just makes me wanna go to their time, makes me feel why was I born so late. Being Nepalese, we also respect her, love her, and even though I don't have any talent to sing, listening her songs and voice makes me wanna sing. All those hindi and nepali songs she had sung are treasures to us.

      Good question Romesh
Have you ever thought why ppl do ceremonies on dead bodies , do prayers , say this person is gone to heavens. ??
The knowledge about death , soul is all unseen .
Allah our and your Creator sent 124,000 messengers on this Earth since the time of First man and Prophet Adam.
Those Messangers were sent to specific nations .
The last Prophet , Muhammad peace be upon him is the last Messanger for all the humanity .
The concept of heavens , soul exist I in all the cultures of the world's.
In Islam there is lots of knowledge, revealed to the Last Messanger Prophet Muhammad peace be upon by our and your Creator..
Islam is not a belief of mumble jumble philosophies .
Its pure logic , not only it talks about the past , it tells you about the future , of coming day, after life .
In Quran all the evidences are there.
You have to study it .When we are able to understand that Allah (SWT) made this Dunya (Arabic for the temporal world) a test for the man.and that this is not our real home; you will truly be able to find peace within your heart. You think that death is scary, but this Dunya is scarier. The reality of this Dunya is that we often excuse our poor behaviour of the neglection of Allah (SWT) due to our worldly responsibilities.
The details about why we are on this Earth?
what happens at the time of death?
      where the souls go ?
      When we will be resurrected?
      What is eternal life?
What is Paradise and the Hell?
All these answers are in Islamic texts.
Learn about Islam with open mind. Turn to your only and True Creator .

    • @Rkhardori
      @Rkhardori 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@whitemusk3954 We do these rituals to make us feel good pure and simple. There is no verifiable explanation otherwise. To claim IslamicTexts have answers would be premature unless we hear from those departed who must come back to provide testimony. Same holds true for other religious texts as well. That is why we say seeing is believing otherwise it is all hearsay.

    • @whitemusk3954
      @whitemusk3954 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Rkhardori it's modern Atheist notion ,that seeing is believing .
      Have you seen your greatgrandparents???
How do u know , that you are their descendents??
This complex human body starting from cell to highly developed organ systems is not a coincidence .
Have you ever found a watch on the sea side ,and it's said this was made by the silicone particles with lots of wind movement plus heat from the Sun and it evolved into a watch .
      Would you believe it.
How come a more sophisticated creation like a human being evolved from a single cell.
Even single cell is so complex .
Our ancestors were not fool .
All these rituals have some bases in all the human culture.
Over the time ppl forgot about the original ideas .
      Search about the truth.
      That is logic .

So sadly mistaken. Nowadays we have pictures, recordings and writings of our grandparents and great grand parents. That should put your arguments to rest. What is this about single cell and organ development. We have full idea of development. I am a physician and a cell biologist. What does it have to do with so called scriptures or religious texts?
Asking for proof is completely rational while believing without verifying is irrational. Yes I believe in spirituality but that does not include being delusional.

SD Burman quarrel list goes on .More often that her voice was shrilling and atrocious especially by sixties and after.People made her famous but I will say not great. discerning music historians will assess her correctly

Nonetheless, just to enlighten you, she was not just a singer who had a nearly 80 year long career, she was also a Bharat Ratna awardee which is the highest civilian award of the country. The state deemed it relevant to honour her contribution to the Indian society whom she has made proud all over the world and her position as a Bharat Ratna Awardee. Disheartening to see that all this has to be listed out to convince someone what her contribution was.
