How beautiful! Loved the interview. I have one incident with her when I was a kid. She had come to perform in San Francisco. During the intermission my mom myself and my brother went to see her behind stage. And there she was looking like a goddess. I was standing behind her and I wanted to tell my brother to take a picture of me and I gestured him with my hand and just then she moved back towards me a little and my hand landed on her shoulder. OMG, she turned around and looked at me with all her glory and those big beautiful eyes and I just melted. My brother clicked the camera instantaneously and caught the look on her face. I was only 12 years old at that time so I am sure she did not think bad of me. It was definitely not with any bad intentions, but I will remember that moment till the day I die. I am happy also in a waythat I was able to touch this graceful Devine woman. With all my respect to her, she looks amazing even today. God bless her. I’ve seen her many times on the stage performing since then.

I was never her fan when I was a young girl growing up in india,i was in collage, playing cricket in mumbai for club, and I wanted to have a job, so I could afford to buy things which are needed to play cricket, so I saw a advertisement in Times of India, and. her address was given, so I went to see her for the job.of a baby sitter for her young daughters, when I went there,and she asked me about my back ground, she politely told me, that this kind of work I should not do, and this is not for you.and you are from educated family with class and good status in the Society,she was so beautiful, she just had a shower, and had shoulder length hair, and she came to meet me, while she was making her hair dry with her towel, she is much much more beautiful than on screen.and well mannered and with out a trace of make up i became her fan from that day.i think she is the most beautiful actress of Hindi film industry.-MMR-usa

That was great of Director Sridhar to cast her again in a Hindi Film. But it was not nice of her to say...I would have just done some Tamil films...the actresses in the south did great films as well. Like Jayalalitha, Sarojadevi, KR Vijaya and many more....they are great. And they are great actresses. Hema said it like south actresses were like not good..She herself is a South Indian, Tamil and looking down on South Indians. Anyways she acted in Hey Ram with Kamal and a Hindi Film with Rajinikanth...Acting talent is more important than Looks.
She did 1 Tamil film and she didnt look good as she was too young. The song is on You Tube. She was not recast hence there is some bitterness about the South films. When she came to Chennai a few years ago to campaign for the BJP, she didnt want to speak in Tamil. She doesnt take criticism easily. It is perhaps her experience in life that has shaped her. Its a shame.

I was never her fan when I was a young girl growing up in india,i was in collage, playing cricket in mumbai for club, and I wanted to have a job, so I could afford to buy things which are needed to play cricket, so I saw a advertisement in Times of India, and. her address was given, so I went to see her for the job.of a baby sitter for her young daughters, when I went there,and she asked me about my back ground, she politely told me, that this kind of work I should not do, and this is not for you.and you are from educated family with class and good status in the Society,she was so beautiful, she just had a shower, and had shoulder length hair, and she came to meet me, while she was making her hair dry with her towel, she is much much more beautiful than on screen.and well mannered and with out a trace of make up i became her fan from that day.i think she is the most beautiful actress of Hindi film industry.-MMR-usa

Hemamalini first acted film in tamil " IDHU SATHIYAM" in 1963..she was appered only group dance at the age 14...After 2 years her mother went n saw Director Sridhar for his new film..she had makeup n tested in camera, but her face was not suit for camera n her nose slightly turn.after she left n Jayalalitha only booked for that film "VENNIRA AADAI" released 1965..After Hema's mother worked very hard to introduce in South india films .Nobody accepted..after her mother went Bombay n saw number of producer to intrduce her daughter..really her mother suffered lots in 1967..after that only she started her carrier..
Her mother did work very hard to make Hema Malini the celebrity and the person she is.

Hema malini's English speaking should have been corrected by her daughters . After all she is a celebrity. Like for past tense she always uses I don't know instead of I didn't know . I am her fan . I have listened to her interviews several times , but she didn't improve her spoken English till at this age .
So what..english is not an indian language and she does not need to be fluent in english when her beautiful face and talent have already done the talking for her

That was great of Director Sridhar to cast her again in a Hindi Film. But it was not nice of her to say...I would have just done some Tamil films...the actresses in the south did great films as well. Like Jayalalitha, Sarojadevi, KR Vijaya and many more....they are great. And they are great actresses. Hema said it like south actresses were like not good..She herself is a South Indian, Tamil and looking down on South Indians. Anyways she acted in Hey Ram with Kamal and a Hindi Film with Rajinikanth...Acting talent is more important than Looks.
She did 1 Tamil film and she didnt look good as she was too young. The song is on You Tube. She was not recast hence there is some bitterness about the South films. When she came to Chennai a few years ago to campaign for the BJP, she didnt want to speak in Tamil. She doesnt take criticism easily. It is perhaps her experience in life that has shaped her. Its a shame.
