Im in this group as well getting only 400 - 500 views within the first hour then it falling off but what confused me was I usually get 2 or 3 subscribers from the short, which threw me. Now i know, ao back to the drawing board for me. 👍

This is one of the best most helpful videos I have seen. I was wondering why the views weren't higher given I'm subbed to vidiq tubebuddy etc., but yours was the best. The thumbnail was very off-putting fyi. If not for the title, and if it hadn't auto played I prob would've missed this. The video was really good! Try a lighter color or something, get that thumbnail😁👍.

I am testing shorts awell, my question to you is: can it take a few days before my short is getting pushed to the initial testaudiance? because I posted 2 shorts, they got right away 8K views, but my others are sitting on a few views (from people that checked my channel) without getting pushed to the algoritme. I see people say they get psuhed in 6 hours time, but meaby it can take a couple days to get in shorts feed?

This was happen to my other channel, i upload my recent video on shorts and it gained 430 views within 15hours but it stop after reaching on the no. I said, i have 10 short videos and 8 out of 10 their views are in 400+ ,thats the pattern that i notice .

What are your swiped away and retention numbers? If they are low, that's why your Shorts stop getting views
My swipe away is 48.5% and retention is 2%, this data is on my latest video upload, i understand my videos are not well edited thats why its not interesting for others, im still reasearching on how to edit videos that will hook on the viewrs on the 3 second on my video

One little question, how hard can it be if I just began promoting my vídeos outside YT entirely? Meaning, not worrying about any algorithms or metrics, simply get out there and do practically door to door promotioning? 🤔.....I started doing that already, I do English practice in my channel and have a few students of my own right now, I signed up one to enter my channel and start using my videos as class material already, I think I am going to go to schools, talk to some moms and dads in my local area invite their kids and themselves to join in to learn with me 🤔.....I feel this is the only way I am going to "convince" TH-cam systems that my videos are NOT crap so will never be worthy of more impressioons than what they give me 😒......what do you think about this idea sir? 🤔

Can I revive my dying channel with TH-cam shorts and be a shorts TH-camr forever? Because based on my experience, I once changed my content which was originally short to long form content and it killed my channel without a trace. I just wanted to do this experiment and I'm working on improving my video editing. It turns out it works only in retention which increases between 70 - 87 percent. But I'm still having problems. the views in my channel always stop at 11k views or 7.9k views. is there something wrong?

What's the length of the videos? If they are super short (less than 10 seconds), TH-cam may see that retention as less valuable
My last video did not really get any view and was not shown in the shorts feed. Please help. it was nice editing to keep the viewers engaged. Still no views.
