3 minutes into this battle and you can see on the mini-map which team will win this match. Something is terribly wrong with this game when a carrier can deflect a hit from Satsuma's super guns.
In all honesty, I think the only problem you had in this game flambass was focusing your damage. It does not matter if the ship is 50 % hp or 1 % HP it still does the same damage and there were so many low hp ships around to kill, but were ignored.
Big guns are supposed to chunk, not waste all their potential damage into low HP ships. Other ships can do it. Of course it's mostly in theory, with teammates lacking braincells, you have to do everything, but expecting a Yamato-class to do everything is the same as expecting all of your DDs to survive more than 3 minutes. In the end if the whole team was unable to finish more than one ship, it's certainly not a single player's fault.
@@ipatchymakouli415 Removing other ships from the game is more impactful than raw damage. If raw damage and hitting unsaturated ships was the most important thing to do, the British BB line would be broken. But it isn't.

You and many others. Co-op, T4-6 Randoms and Operations are increasingly the dominatie gameplay in WoWS. That tells you the state of high tier play currently.
I'm not a great player, I'm really not. My win rate is something like .40 or maybe .45. But the RNG makes no sense to me. I'll angle and take a citadel. But I can sail broadside, and tank shells, or even ricochet them. I've broadsided cruisers at sub 5k and missed every shell by a km, or if they hit, just get overpens despite it being a perfect waterline volley. I know I can play a lot better than I do, but it doesn't seem to be worth bothering with, because the RNG just nullifies any attempts to play "by the rules".
i love this game but man the inaccuracy of the guns for BB's is ridiculous, especially the American BB's. the Iowa and Montana's guns should be able to hit spot on their target without such a massive spread of their shells. the spread is absolutely terrible. sometimes i fire all 12 funs and only 1 or 2 hit. thats ridiculous.
Some ships have a super-power or gimmick related to F key that you can charge by doing some actions in the match, usually superships and the South American cruisers have it. In satsuma its supposed to give godlike accuracy for like 24s or so. The meter charges by landing shells near targets.
