To keep to the timeline, it was Ms. Rika Usami´s performance that caught my eyes, both technically and from warrior point of view, regardless of her , being a female warrior!. Then I came acorss with Master Joshimiś presentations made and aleo presented in Italy. THose are the most instructivew ideas, I ahve aever got. May Master rest in Peace, he can be satisfied with his followers like Ms. Rika Usami or Sen. Diaz, and so on. As a retired instructor, of Sports Karate, 67, I cannot imagine a better continuation of one´s efforts. May you all be blessed and your students as well. Paul.
One of my Karate inspirations and heros, I would love to meet her one day. Because of her I am striving to improve, push my limits and never look back. Thank you for inspiring me Ms. Rika Usami.
I hope she stays away from performing Uechi ryu and isshin ryu shapes (kata). Shorin ryu and Okinawan goju ryu dojos have had enough of their kata turned into flashy and exaggerated competitions.
