The acceleration is because you have a rotax. They are all bottom end engines whilst an X30 is top end. with a rotax you will always catch on the exit of the corner but the X30 will pass you on the straight.
I don't think the difference is that much. I race at Todd rd and the difference out of the corners is very marginal. I was gaining way more in this race out of the corners.

great video. Oakleigh is a really tough circuit. I raced here for the first time this club day and really struggled
I raced there 30 years ago in clubman and used to keep it flat that turn down the back straight
It's a bit different now. There is a bump which makes us airborne. But, it is still flat.
