She used, among other things, concrete blocks. From the blocks she had left, she built a planter next to the plunge, her small pool.
After she built the planter she plastered it with cementitious plaster mortar and painted it with latex.

I am so amazed at Nicole’s building skills. The pool and garden are beautiful. Also, I am jealous at the relatively loose rules for building at the borders of your property. I am not sure, if we could put cement structures within 3m of our border without permission. Lucky Dutch people.

I sure don't mean to be critical... the music is a bit annoying... maybe it's just me though. Love the editing. And... I have watched the swimming pool video at least a hundred times. Love love love it!!!

Hai hai! Wat voor primer heb je gebruikt en waarom? ;) ook heb je bepaalde stukken overgeslagen met stucen en bakstenen er bovenop liggen. Wat is het idee daarachter? Door dit filmpje maak ik nu ook mijn eigen plantenbak van gebroken buitentegels. Dank je!
Hoi Elika, ik weet geeneens meer welke primer ik precies heb gebruikt. Voor buiten, op beton. Anders zuigt stuc er helemaal als een gek in :-) Maar blijft beter plakken. Dit filmpje was naast de zwembadvideo. Mis inderdaad helaas paar opnamen :-( Maar de bakstenen waren om de hoekprofielen vast te houden tijdens het stucen. Kon ze niet vastzetten met spijkertjes. Zou het beton afbrokkelen. Veel succes met je eigen plantenbak! Grtz, Nicole
