Gotta confess that it hurts me the tanks situation in game. They are great classes and also fun to play with.
Hope we can get back to life all the tanks.
This explains the ice role on the guild I joined, it also included roles like Courage, Prosperity, Inspiration, Food and Luster.. Though I am not sure what the Luster does for the roles to be important..
luster its more like buffing support although if wanna use luster on raid, she needs to be geared enough to compensate the total dps

Omgg, really need to select the class that I am comfortable with and go for it for dps.. healing classes isn’t the best and excellent in DN.. hahaha.. need to switch main to dps or great supporter char.. thanks.. keep it up! 🎉

great video as always. but i dont agree with ice-stacked role.
Should be a "support" role who boost party damage is more correctly than ice stacker. For example, Luster do exactly the same or even better elestra,ava,... in term of "boost" but she is no "ice" at all :D
This comment of mine will be a bit technical or not idk. When it comes to dps i think we should also think about the animation speed or casting speed and it is also crucial how fast or slow the casting speed/animation speed of the spell. I think that will be a good guidelines also. Look how I like fast movement, fast casting skill/fast animation.

Artillery as a top pick for Archer class? very surprising with how Range Ender is like Finish Attack skill of Gladiator with bonus damage, easier to climb STG and Range Ender runes are very common while Artillery only excels on just a tiny bit with the AOE, skills are pretty clunky & buggy and needs to constantly hit stuff to refund RB cooldown so it's pretty unreliable on Raids where you need to watch for mechs and dodge boss attacks half of the time. i'm an artillery main that's why I know haha and again, a very surprising pick.

Well it all comes down to "Personal preference" forget anything about top meta DPS if you cant use the class properly you wont even enjoy using it.
that's why I've settled with Arti

I was an arti but change to SH since arti cant be use in pvp due to low damage.
I only have 1 char and that is Seleana. But i'm curious about Elestra bcs i often find Elestra party member doing much dmg (besides the equipment etc). I kinda want to try changing to Elestra but I already have some skill dj and heraldy (not powerful yet) on my Seleana. Do you think i can change my class to Elestra? I'm kinda affraid that too much things i should build again if i did.
If you really want to commit to Elestra then its the right choice, but since you said that you have already invested quite a little bit on your saleana it is better to list the pros and cons of staying saleana and changing job to elestra
Is elestra's DPS good for stg19 weekly? Just wanna make a cheap geared sub so I wanna focus on high DPS chars of each job class.

honestly imo, they should start balancing every class skills to make it fair how strong and useful they can be without p2w gear that overshadow each class varients so people wouldn't complain how bad their classes are and actually enjoy the same for their fairness. it's hard that people start not liking their fav classes n force to change for a better one in terms of how people play them. people should enjoy what class they have chosen in terms of their gameplay and style.

Regarding the Kali class, how is OE better than SE? I still can’t decide whether to go BD or OE. I find OE more flexible due to its fast Action speed but they say that she isn’t that reliable in nests and her dps is bad on nests, is that true?
OE depends on how frequent the activation rate, so it varies. BD = SD > DS > OE > SE
as a Kali main. mainly play BD and making OE sub too, OE is good but only on STG. if you want to build sub, trust me just use OE. slap her only with +10 ddj and no runes at all i can clear stg 21 with OE. but while i try her on ark or DG even a low lab raid she's not that great compared to BD or SE.

@@user-yl7ju6ik1m SD is good if you feed her well enough with some fancy stuff like perfect T/D, perfect variant jades and +15 BMJ(no need fancy midplate since she use CD plate only on her BMJ). for the shake of easy to build better use BD

Yes! I know Sniper is better than Arti when it comes to overall DPS, but at the end of the day I'd pick arti over sniper because I'm more familiar with Arti than Sniper. because I'm a kind of guy who doesn't want complexity on my sub characters specially on skill rotation, Imo Arti skill animation/rotation is much simpler than Sniper.
If I'm an archer main I'd pick Sniper over any other archer class, but in my case I'm not, so I choose Arti to save me from the headaches of skill rotation learning curve because it is just my sub character.
TLDR?:
Sniper ~ Meta DPS
Arti ~ My personal preference

Huh.. So the roles now changed in DN from 10 years ago. Before, the roles were just DPS and Howlers, there was one more role but only for the Swordsman job with the Provoke skill. Tanks and Healers were welcomed but not really a must. So the parties back then were composed of a Mercenary, Swordsman, and 2 fillers since the Merc and Swordy also act as DPS. It's all about the knowledge of the nest you're going. Well, I guess with the nature of the game now where basic attacks deal a million damage compared before where it's in just thousands, the bosses would've gotten harder and players adjust to it, thus the change in party roles. Healers are sought after in Raids tho, especially Saints.
In the current meta/content Tanks are not that really essential if your raid party have 1 busted healer then its more than enough.
Having a Tank in a raid party rn feels like encountering shiny pokemon

It is so disappointing that Sting Breezer , one of the DPS in early 95 cap , now ranked in one of the lowest DPS of 99 cap. Better change her to Flurry then.
Sadly a lot of classes that used to be powerful in 80-95 cap have lost a lot of their power due to how raiding and gearing works nowadays.
Well after few years DN INA closed...... I'm back again in SEA and Avalanche are suit me well than Elestra (my DN INA main back then)

the reason I change to Lancea cuz... Her story are good and mind blowing that she is the future Queen of Saint Heaven..... If I remember that when she meet Cormelia for first time when she leaked a bit the future of saint heaven and also..... When you got full friend bar with Cassius, he will say "I want to keep you near me". That the most cutest thing that o can imagine from Saint Heaven young king.......

It's only *DPS* and *Support*
Dps deal damage, meanwhile support doing buffs and debuffs, weakening enemies and keeping teammates alive.
There's no more tank in this game. Maybe yes in cap 24-90, but this era, no more tank.
